Potter Conceptual Artist posts designs online
Here's a really cool find: MuggleNet reader Cami sent us a link to the website of Adam Brockbank, a conceptual artist for many films including the Potter series. Within his site you can find lots of concept art for Chamber of Secrets through Order of the Phoenix - everything from mopping house elves to beautiful views of Hogwarts. To check it all out, visit his site right here, then click on Concept Art. From there, you can select any of the films he has worked on. Also be sure to visit the Storyboards area, where you can see some work from Sorcerer's Stone.
Thanks again to Cami for the tip!

First!!!!!!!!!! Those are great pictures. Simply Breathtaking.
2nd?!? those pictures are amazing :O simply beautiful (spelling ^^)
Interesting to see images from the Deathday Party, which, if my memory is correct, was cut from the film. Incredibly talented artist. Some of those images were simply perfect.
absolutely awesome. I really appreciate seeing his concept of scenes that didn't make it to film!
this is really cool, this guy is so talented.
oh wow! I love his digital art style
amazing site!
But this website is very old! I discovered it in ages! But pretty awesome indeed.
Those are seriously awesome!
These pictures will bring a thrill to all Potter fans.
Wow, these are brilliant pictures! He's done several other movies, I saw, and also a single story board of the second Potter film.
hey thanks for the link mugglenet. I'm doing a project and i need to design a set of storyboards and i have to research so thanks for giving me a name and i can use him in my project. Thanks! =)
Excellent! What an awesome site as well. Thanks for the tip Cami & MuggleNet. :)
This is about as good as it gets in the commercial art world! Wow! He is one talented person! I'd love to know more about him, his training and inspiration, his techniques and studio. You can see where the film makers may have really taken his lead on much of the perspective, layouts, set designs and overall drama that make the HP films so terrific. Wonderful!
Sorry to be so thick - what is the scene with the folks standing in what looks like bathrobes, facing a gentleman sitting next to some sort of control/knobs device? A very clean, hospital-looking place... Is it St. Mungo's?
wow! it's neat to see a story like that on here. those are amazing pieces of work! he certainly is talented. thanks so much for posting!
Aww the Deathday party! And young Hagrid from CoS? (: Sir Cadogan and the Giant Squid from PoA? That was some cool stuff, especially the images from non-Potter films. Two thumbs up to the very talented Adam Brockbank! Right on the money! Thanks Cami!!!

oops, we've crashed his site. XD Lol, I read the comments to see if anyone else had trouble loading, and started laughing uncontrollably. Poor guy. His site is suddenly famous..a little more famous than it can manage. It's hilarious what potter fans can do in just a few hours. :D I didn't even get to see the pictures, oh well I'll go back later when it's up again.
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" lmao whoopsies
That stinks, I wanted to see the pictures! Oh well, I guess it'll be back up soon...hopefully...
Amazing pictures! I looked at them yesterday before the site crashed, and they were really beautiful and detailed! I hope the site gets back up soon..
Too bad we killed his site, I would really like to see these pictures. Lol.
Haha. I love the way his bandwidth limit exceeded because so many Harry Potter fans decided to go to his site.
