HBP tops 2009 most anticipated films list
The sixth Harry Potter film made the number one spot on AOL's list of the most anticipated films for 2009:'Potter' heads were none too pleased when 'Prince' was pushed from fall '08 to summer '09 -- and 'Twilight' attempted to fill the void. So this installment -- which finds Harry taking one giant step closer to his showdown with Voldemort -- probably ranks as the most highly anticipated 'Potter' yet.

Aw, you guys broke the "not surprised" train! I'm extremely not surprised. In fact, the mere gargantuan mass of how much I am not surprised would affright the foundations of the world.

Yay :)! (not very surprised, though...we've been waiting for this for ages). Oh, and A Christmas Carol with Gary Oldman is also on number 31 and New Moon with Robert Pattinson on number 16. Very interesting list, like the director of LotR making another film..
there are some really stupid movies on this list...but im so glad HP is number 1!!! HELL YEAH!

I treat twilight as a guilty pleasure, however the movie definitely did not fill the void.
That list was pretty interesting. I didn't know a movie was being made of "the Lovely Bones", or that LotR director was doing it, or that they were making a movie about amelia earheart with hilary swank, or that ewan macgregor is in the "angels & demons" movie... and the delay of HBP made it a pretty easy choice for their #1 anticipated movie...
HECK YEAH MAN! i cannot wait. i'm going with like 10 different people on 10 different occasions. i really hope this one lives up tp all the hype. i'm going to be very disappointed if it's not that good and as bad as OotP
it would suck if HBP is the worst out of all of the potter films so far.
Of course Harry Potter topped the list, it's only the greatest book turned movie series out there! W.B made a big mistake trying to replace it with Twilight (gag) anyway. Harry Potter kicked Twilights arse and always will !!!!!!!!

Absolutely, positively, undeniably unsurprised about that...If it's one of the most anticipated of 2008 (@#$%WB!!!), then of course it tops the 2009 one... and I didn't fail to notice this...'a spot Twilight attempted to fill in...', ATTEMPTED being the operative word...not to be nasty but ATTEMPTED is right...
Glad to see that it's getting attention, although personally for me it's my #4 film behind Watchmen, Avatar, and Star Trek. Still pumped though.
Like everyone else I'm not surprised. Although it's not my top anticipated movie of 09. The one I want to see deseperately has been pushed back to November. Sigh.
If someone calls us "potterheads" again I think I"m going to send some strongly worded letters.... I'd really like to know who coined that term, and decided they could call the fans that. :P And btw, not surprised at the news.. :D
