MuggleCast kicks off 2009 LIVE this Thursday
What better way to begin a new year of podcasting than to discuss the latest Harry Potter news stories LIVE on Ustream? Join Andrew, Laura, Eric, Penny and myself this Thursday (January 15th) starting at 8 PM EST!The episode will focus on what Harry Potter fans can expect in 2009, your live calls, and a lot more. And for the first time in our 'LIVE' history, we'll be streaming video as well. It may just be Andrew's sweet studio setup, but he promises it will be well done.
The stream will begin at 7:30 PM EST at this link with some music and live video of Andrew setting up. Then at 8:00 PM EST, the show will begin. We hope to see you there!
And just a reminder that there are only a few hours left to vote for MuggleCast in the Best Podcast category at the 2008 Weblog Awards. We currently trail EconTalk and need your help to pull out the upset!

Ooh I can't wait! I've already voted for MuggleCast but unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to beat Econ Talk with the little time we have. I'll keep my fingers crossed though. And why do people care if they are first or whatever? I mean, if this was even important I would think everyone would want to be seventh, seeing as it's the most powerfully magical number.

I'll have 2 wake up at 6:30 in da morning cuz i live in india... but i'll do anything. 4 HP... wonder if my parents will let me though? they dont approve of HP and hate it when i read the books

I'm so excited! This is the first time I'll ever have listened to a live show, and now they have video as well! There's only one thing wrong though; I'll only be able to listen to the first forty-five minutes, because I have choir. Oh well, it's better forty-five than none.

Oh man!! I wish I could listen, its a good time of the day for me too like 11am friday morning (Aussie time)....but I gotta work!!! Bugger having to be a grown up! oh well at least we can podcast it too. Have fun listening and watcing guys!
Ahhh. I was so excited when I saw a new update on mugglecast.com. I was even more excited when I saw it was a live show! I'd missed all live show because: a. I was in school or b. I just didn't know there was one until the day after. So imagine how upset I was when I saw that it was going to be on Thursday at 8 PM EST (or 7 here), the time when my show choir's first show would be. Hopefully, it's going to be more than 1 hour because that'll mean I'll have time to get home and at least catch part of it. Still, very upsetting.
oh no I missed it! I was listening to an old mugglecast too! figures!
