@mlc872 Considering that it says "Harry Potter AND the Half-Blood Prince" I doubt people will think that is it Harry-- No one thought he was the Prisoner of Azkaban in HP3... You're issue with that part of the poster is complete tripe. And the same can be said for Dumbledore... Anyone that knows of the story line, knows that that is Dumbledore the Headmaster of Hogwarts. I suppose if someone is so far from the HP world that they could not figure this out would not be seeing the movie, or care about the poster. And I also think putting the Snape on the poster would not be the best of ideas... Snape as a character does not evoke any type of positive reaction. He is a man who repels people and interest-- wouldn't be the best marketing ploy of WB to use him on posters meant to create hype. In any case, I think Poster 2 (Harry brandishing his wand) is the best of the lot. I wouldn't mind if that were released for retail purchase. :)

Im unsure... Firstly I do think they're good promo posters overall but the HP6 is a little strange. OK, yeah it could be a nod in the direction of us fans, but then it looks out of place.. No scar, no black hand... and I think we should have some sort of new post opened for every to decide what is on Harry's front.... I think I see a head...

I think the image on his shirt is just light passing over wrinkles in his shirt. His shirt is wrinkled, and therefore is lighter in the places where it catches the light.... I wouldn't read too much into it.

they look realllllllly good!!! but i was hoping for once they'd actually put sumthing other than wands in the pictures...maybe some other magical object like the locket, or the pensieve or something??? but still- i can live with this!!

somebody mentioned the lack of Harry's scar, and it's true! where is it? I really love these posters, especially the one with Dumbledore reflecting in Harry's glasses! But I find it kind of strange that in one of them it says HP6 instead of HBP. What is that? They've never done that before, have they? And yeah, I agree with everyone who thinks that Dumbledore looks like Santa Claus!

Alright, where's the poster with Snape on it? And where the hell are Dumbledore's glasses? I want to see the "Prince" !

There okay, but the style is bugging me a bit. I like the color and everything, but the diagonal composition is kind of annoying me. Also I wish that the one with Harry's eye(which I think is an amazing shot) would better if they spelled out "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" instead of just "HP6"

So, I may be to much of an LotR fan, but Dumbledore looks a LOT like Gandalf. The snow makes me think of when they are going through the mountains, avoiding Moria. And maybe it's just me, but both Dumbledores look pretty much the same. Are they perhaps the same picture?

OK am I the only one who thinks they need a poster with..oh I dont know...Snape?? He is after all the Half-Blood Prince!!! I love these posters but they should have done one with Dumbledore and Harry and one with Snape and Draco. I really hope they make one with snape....and I hope Hot Topic makes Snape shirts this time around...

I think they're rather ugly. I liked those HBP ones before, of H, R, and H in the common room and the burrow... lol and I think bill and fleur's wedding should DEFINITELY be in deathly hallows...that would be devastating if it wasn't.

I'm pretty sure the scar is there, it's just hard to see with the sort of blue/black/white coloring. I think it's above his left eyebrow (our right.) At least I think it's the scar because it is quite a bit straighter than his hair. (All this being on the first one.)

Wow, these are amazing! I think I've swooned for the last three hours over them. My favorite is the reflection one, but they are all really awesome. What's great about these ones is that they aren't like the posters of the previous movies (Harry standing front and center in some generic pose, Ron looking scared, Hermione looking intense, generic spacy wizard background). I want one in my room so bad! Will definitely buy one when the become available.

Here's my theory, to ease your panicked minds: We actually see Dumbledore's hand get wounded. Remember one of the trailers (the first one) we see Dumbledore picking up a ring and putting it on, and then flinching and dropping the ring and then Voldemort pops up?? Don't worry; Dumbledore's hand will die. And the "HP6.." Grow up. It looks fine that way, and no one died because they didn't spell out "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." These posters were great and I can't wait until the movie comes out!
