With his hair like that, he is almost a carbon copy of the image I had in my mind, except I am imagining Grindy with a lighter hair color, but if this is a true, this would be a great casting job, on looks alone. Wow.

Okay, before all the anti-twilight people start veto-ing him because hes going to be in the next twilight movie, may i just say that Rob Pattinson was a main character in HPGOF and a main character in Twilight, so there is already that connection. Many actors do many different roles in there life time, most do what ever they can get. I don't know if I picture Bower (his name isnt brown, btw) as Grindelwald, but i think he could do a good job, if he is cast.

I think he would be the PERFECT Grindlewald...he fits the description exactly!! I mean he's blonde, gorgeous, and has a very intriguing look about him...He would be GREAT. He originally for the role of teen Tom Riddle in HBP, but he didn't get it...so maybe he will get this role. I wonder who they're going to cast as young Dumbledore...I think William Mosley would be an excellent choice. :D

Interesting.... my first thought was, "He'd better be a YOUNG Grindlewald!" And then I was like, "Wait... wasn't he already casted for something else?" Well, it's all a rumor still, so we'll see if he'll really be Grindlewald!

GOOD! I know he wanted to play a younger Voldemort, but that didn't work out. I think he'd be a great Grindewald. Also, WHO CARES if he's in New Moon. He's only been in Sweeney Todd, and it's hard for new actors to really get appreciated until they find a good deal, and he has that with New Moon. He needs to get paid, and that's how it's going to happen.

@isa -- I'm perfectly fine that Pattinson is in the HP movies, he did a great job. But Twilight... Well, that's another story. As with Jamie, I've seen Sweeney Todd and I love the movie. He was pretty good in it, but... I can't see him as Grindewald. At all. So, we'll see how this goes... P:

This is a Potter site. We can stop talking about Twilight now. Secondly, stating your opinion about a book, such as hating it, isn't immature. It's opinion. You have to admit that not everyone likes Twilight, I'm sorry. Thirdly, there is always a reason behind the hate. Trust me, there is. And some people enjoy voicing this.

Grindelwald? Are they actually showing dumbledore's younger years? If not then Jamie is WAY too young. Grindelwald is like 90 or something at the time of the 7th book and he's in prison. If you want to get somebody for that I'd suggest Ian McKellen, one of the only british actors who hasn't been in a potter film.
