MSI Chicago sets attendance record thanks to Potter
MSI Chicago sets attendance record thanks to Potter BND.com is reporting that the Museum of Science and Industry of Chicago set a new attendance record on June 19th with 19,995 attendees. It is the highest single-day attendance in 10 years!

Who's to thank? The Museum offered free admission that day to commemorate their 76th anniversary, which brought additional crowds out to see Harry Potter: the Exhibition.

I went on that day and it was MISERABLE. You absolutely couldn't walk in the museum without a little kid running into you. I guess that's what I get for trying to save some money. And it was still $16 for parking, I think, so that whole trip was still around $35. Oh well. The Exhibit was awesome, though. Since you still had to pay for that and they sent in groups of set amounts of people in at a time, it was soo much less crowded. I'm really glad I went to that. Very, very cool.
