New photos, report from Swinley Forest filming
New photos, report from Swinley Forest filming Brand-new photos from Swinley Forest have emerged online as filming continues for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. According to the report:

"The scenes being shot here will be featured in both parts 1 & 2 of The Deathly Hallows. Night scenes and day action were shot by both film units; these include the capture of Harry, Ron and Hermione by the Snatchers (who then deliver them to Malfoy Manor), several scenes involving the Death Eaters and a scene in which Ron chases a rabbit through the forest!"

Those on hand included Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, David Legeno (Fenrir Greyback), the Snatchers, as well as close to 20 Death Eaters.

Thanks to HP4U.co.uk and Snitch Seeker for the tip!

anyway i wonder what the scene where Ron chases a rabbit through the forest is about kinda sounds a bit comical to me.

Oh lol, I came across these pics last night, didnt know they were new, lol. But awesome! =]

Yea, I'm kinda wondering why Ron would be chasing a rabbit in the forest too. And from what it sounds, this scene seems like its goint to be really bloody, graphic and raw. I hope this film can be as realistic as possible. :)

Wow this is EXCITING!! They're clearly filming a huge action sequence! I'm assuming Emma has so many body doubles because they're no doubt going to enhance the part of the snatcher scene in which Greyback takes a liking to her and apparently there's a chase sequence too. I wonder if Dan's face is so beat up because of the hex Hermione puts on him?? But I can't wait to see this in the movie. The part about Ron chasing a rabbit is freakin' hilarious and Greyback looks terrifying!!

I like the photos and the rest of the stuff. I can way to see the final product.

I bet that Ron is chasing the bunny because he is hungry. =P

Not the best quality of pictures, but still, it's awesome to see filming going along! But... haha Ron chasing a bunny?? That's... interesting? lol

Posted by tbc07 Jun 25th 2009

sooo...ummm Fenrir Greyback looks totally different than he does in Half-Blood Prince...why did his appearance change so much? I mean, he's still kind of recognizable, but on the whole, he looks totally different.....excitiing news though :)

Posted by phoenixknighter Jun 25th 2009

Well my guess is Ron is chasing the Rabbit because they gotta eat food.. and in the book Hermione wasn't magicking food on their plates automatically, lol

Posted by phoenixknighter Jun 25th 2009

they're gonna have FREERUNNERS as Snatchers??!? AWESOME! That means they're going to have a chasing scene equivalent to the James Bond: Casino Royale chasing scene in Africa! :) "Run Potter, Run!"

WOW. This is the end, it seems. I wonder how it will feel like, coming out of the theater having seen DH part II. What a moment it will be and what a journey it has been so far, glad it's not over yet...

Posted by acciocaitlin Jun 26th 2009

These scenes will be in both parts? I wonder what that means for the split.

Posted by Nirvana89 Jun 26th 2009

Fenrir Greyback looks more like I pictured he would be. Maybe his appearance changed because of a new makeup artist or because they are trying to show that he has been working hard for Voldemort and hasn't had time to clean up or something.

I wonder if that scene with Ron chasing the Rabbit is around the time he is complaining about him being hungry? Im thinking Malfoy Manor is the split, just like i have been ever since they were going to split the movies.. Perfect place to split it in my mind :)

@bdowdy: That's EXACTLY what I was thinking, but I really hope not! The part about the trio following the MYSTERIOUS TICKING NOISE is absolutely hilarious and it's a definite nod to PPP. lol.
