All eight Half-Blood Prince deleted scenes now online
All eight Half-Blood Prince deleted scenes now online Earlier today we showed you one of the deleted scenes to be included on the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD.

Tonight, all eight deleted scenes included on the DVD are up on YouTube at this link.

Of particular note is a scene where Dumbledore says the line "I am not worried Harry, I am with you."

I won't be watching them because I want to wait for the DVD on December 8th here in the United States! Thanks to CJ and Ryan for the tip.

I dont want to watch them either but I dont have much will power lol!

I love the scene with Dumbledore. I wish they had not left any of these scenes out.

Oh, when I was watching the deleted scenes on my DVD (I'm from Australia, and we already have it), and I saw that they had filmed that line and cut it out, I was so annoyed! It's about five seconds WB, five seconds! Oh well, the movie was brilliant. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the special features; there's a hilarious interview segment with Tom Felton which I've already watched three times.

Posted by MrPoe Nov 22nd 2009

Great! First the Wizarding World Sneak Peek and now ALL DELETED SCENES!!! Maybe by next week we won't even have to buy the DVD, they'd have put the whole movie up as well!

Posted by trueligth Nov 23rd 2009

I know that some people will like the deleted scenes to put they in the movie, but the movie is real good as it is.

Posted by Snapealicious Nov 23rd 2009

As acciocaitlin said, an important line that was only a few seconds was cut. I feel the same way. Why did we never get to hear Snape say, "It's over", like we saw in the teaser trailer? For God sakes, it's TWO SECONDS. They spent the money to film it, yet don't include it. It would have only been a few seconds to hear Snape say, "Don't call ME coward!", and, "Blocked again and again and again, until you learn to keep your mind closed and your mouth shut!" These were PIVOTAL lines to the story! Now "It's over" isn't even included in the deleted scenes on the DVD? Give me a break.

go to http://www.megavideo.com/ ?v=EMKFJYKF to watch half-blood prince its a dvd rip very good quality

Posted by RedKat82 Nov 23rd 2009

The only deleted scene I liked was the choir scene, but I'm fine with it being on the DVD. What's with Dan's voice being so deep in the scene where the trio is discussing the vanishing cabinet?

Posted by browncoat Nov 23rd 2009

@RedKat82 Glad to know I'm not the only one who noticed that! Either the sound messed up, Dan had a cold or someone else was dubbing over him. Weird.

Posted by iwantorlando05 Nov 23rd 2009

I'm not watching them either!! All the people in other countries who have the dvd need to just keep it to themselves until the rest of us get it too. Not cool. It's very tempting to watch them all, but I can wait.

Posted by ecniv08 Nov 23rd 2009

Not interested at all. will wait for the DVD.. for the ultimate experience.

Posted by SofieMalfoy Nov 23rd 2009

I'm watching them today because today I got my dvd. :D whoa! "Iwantorlando05" should seriously just shut her mouth, because US gets everything that we never get! so what if you have to wait two weeks for the DVD? you still get EVERYTHING else that we don't, so stop being spoiled. You can always make yourself feel better with the HP exhibition, midnight premieres, midnight book releases, meet 'n greets with the cast, book signings with JKR, contests, the wizarding world, fan meetings, the red carpet, because guess what! they are all limited to the US, and I'm sick of you guys bitching every time you have to wait for something! So I'm saying to you, that YOU should keep YOUR whining to yourself, let us enjoy the dvd, ok?

Posted by filops Nov 23rd 2009

Most times you watch deleted scenes, and you think, "Yeah... it's good that was left out." Not these. I think most or all should have stayed in.

Posted by siriusnprongs Nov 23rd 2009

I'm gong to wait 'til the DVD comes out...but WHY?!!! did they have to cut out that line from Dumbledore?! I wanted that in the movie sooo badly! Ugh. Now I am even further disconented with WB.

Posted by Slytherin15 Nov 23rd 2009

I can't wait till the DVD comes out. Those scenes are awesome. But I think they should've stayed in the movie.

Posted by phoenixknighter Nov 23rd 2009

YOU GUYS QUIT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE "I AM WITH YOU" SCENE. In about 2 years when HBP comes out in Ultimate Edition.. you can watch the scene in the movie.. duh! lol

Posted by kapuffy26 Nov 23rd 2009

A lot of these scenes seemed to be cut without being fully edited, so we couldn't get the full effect. I am actually okay that they cut out most of these. The one that pains me due to its absence was the choir scene, because it was just so beautifully done. I could have done without the rest, even though the scene where Harry meets his pals in the common room, Ginny glaring at him, was really nice and heartfelt.

Posted by emilyecstasyTM Nov 23rd 2009

Nope, not watching! WB already somewhat ruined the movie for me in the 9 months we had to wait for the actual movie, so I am NOT watching so I can still have SOME surprise left.

Posted by fairiesndragonflies Nov 23rd 2009

The movie is up, it is on fastpasstv.com - great quality too. Anyway I wish they had left in most of these, as I am for the dark side of the books. These scenes give you that and bring you back into what the story is all about, it is about Harry and Voldy!! It wouldn't have added much more time to the movie, and really if they had made the tickets a little more expensive because the movie was 3 hours long, I still would have paid to see it.

Posted by hooked_on_Harry Nov 23rd 2009

i would like to wait the 2 weeks too. I can't watch them here @ school but i may....watch them home. (maybe not....fightng the urge!) these sound great.

Posted by Her_my_nee Nov 23rd 2009

Must... refrain... use willpower... mustn't click link... must wait for DVD... oh who am I kidding lol!

Posted by Veggie_Potter Nov 23rd 2009

I couldn't resist! Oh my goodness, so many good, quality scenes! Its a shame the movies can me hours upon hours long :(

Posted by Gryffindor1991 Nov 23rd 2009

oh no, WB spoils everything with too many videos, clips, and sneak peaks. :( im not watching them. im waiting until the 8th when it comes out. i want to be surprised by the things on disk 2.

Posted by geek42 Nov 23rd 2009

woo i can't wait untill dacember 8th!!!

Posted by _SectumsemprA_ Nov 23rd 2009

Thank you thank you thank you, I was so pissed when my favorite line of the whole book wasn't in the movie. Even though it still isn't in the movie, just being able to see it in the deleted scenes makes me happy. Still going to wait till dec. 8th though.

@SophieMalfoy: Okay...whoa! I don't care if you guys got the dvd first, but I would prefer (and I'm sure others would agree with me) if you guys would NOT post the content online so that the rest of us could also be surprised when we get the dvd.

Posted by SnivillusSev Nov 23rd 2009

The choir montage actually made me cry. God :( I really enjoyed those deleted scenes. I dont have much of a problem watching them because I'm getting the DVD for Christmas (possibly with the DE mask) and not on its release.

Posted by krazykobra29 Nov 23rd 2009

awww i liked the choir one. they should ahve kept some of those in!

Posted by Gryffindor_Seeker_7 Nov 23rd 2009

I'm not watching them, I am going to wait until I get the DVD. I am probably getting the DVD for Christmas, but I can wait. I want the DVD to be worth getting.

Posted by iwantorlando05 Nov 23rd 2009

Yeah the choir one is brilliant. It was released not too long ago. I really think they should've left that one in, but I love that song, "In Noctem." It's absolutely beautiful! I get chills every time I hear it.

Posted by Im_No_Muggle Nov 23rd 2009

That was amazing! Every single one of those should have been in the film. iwantorlando05, the same thing happened to me when I heard that song. I got chills. That scene was just beautiful. Also notice when it shows Ron and Hermione looking up, it looks exactly like the back of the book, and that whole choir scene was amazing, once again.

The only reason I think it'd odd that Australia had the dvd release first is that I think that the UK should have had first dibs, being that it's a British series.. I think it's also silly to claim that the US has EVERYTHING first, what a load of tosh! Play nice, kids, it's not up to us who Warner Bros gives a movie to first. For those of us who don't want to have the scenes spoiled, well, no one's making you click that link. Last I looked mugglenet didn't send gremlins to pin you down while the scenes run. ;) I for one, thank Australian viewers for putting it up, because I really enjoyed seeing the deleted scenes.
