Radcliffe, Grint on Pattinson's post-Potter success
The BBC recently spoke to Potter stars Dan Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, who both comment on the success their Goblet of Fire co-star Robert Pattinson has had with his work on the Twilight saga. Here's what Dan had to say:"I haven't spoken to Robert since we saw each other at the opening of a gallery three years ago," said Radcliffe. "We've been sort of exchanging advice through journalists, bizarrely."
"It is totally mad, when people are screaming and going absolutely insane for you.
"Particularly with Robert - the amount of women that would jump on him - you have to keep it in some kind of perspective, by thinking 'well, partly they like me and partly they are just attracted to the character'.
"As long as you don't think 'oh yeah, God they're all doing this - I must be absolutely fantastic'. As long as you do that, you should be all right."

I love Dan!! He's so awesome!! I wish they would stop asking OTHER celebrities about Robert Pattinson like he's the ONLY celebrity in the world. I really hate it when they do that. "So tell me about Robert, a person you haven't seen for 3 years, what are his likes, his pursuits, what kind of product does he use to make his hair stick up like that?" So annoying.
Yeah, he'll always be Cedric to a lot of people. Potter put him on the map.

Ha ha I love Rupert. "I'm getting used to it [the fame]." He has been in 6 movies and still getting used to it. How humble.
I feel badly for the poor guy. I mean, he hasn't talked to Robert in months. They probably barely knew each other. What can he say? And frankly, I think he notices Rob's big head and is subtly trying to hint at him to cool it. Of course, that's my opinion and I don't pretend to be an expert.
Robert Pattinson was WAYYY better as Cedric. Edward and Twilight are SOOO vomit-worthy.
i agree that pattinson was hotter and better as cedric! (although i do enjoy twilight as well, it just doesn't compare). and, yeah, how obnoxious is it that they're asking dan and rupert about him when they haven't worked together in years? it's not like they're all best friends or anything.

Can I just say, I never found this guy attractive? Not EVER? Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver), Christian Coulson (Riddle COS) and Freddie Stroma (Cormac), on the other hand, are absolutely wonderful to look at.

Yes he was Cedric first but ROBERT WILL ALWAYS BE EDWARD CULLEN. I'm sorry he's Edward and will be loved and remembered that way first and foremost maybe not for Potter fans but for the Twilight fans and even fans who aren't. And Cedric didn't really put him anywhere TWILIGHT PUT HIM ON THE MAP. And I think he's better as Edward then Cedric. THANK GOD HE DIED.
58hestiajones85: definitely agree with you on the actors. They're scrumptious, but not as much as Snape and Lupin. Yay! Yeah, Robert wasn't bad. He was quite a cool person, but I didn't really notice him until Twilight came out. I like him better as Edward.
@58hestiajones85: Hey all the HP actors are pretty smoking. I love them because they're all different people and are hot in different ways. Dan, Rupert, Phelps twins, Alfie, Matt, Christian, Freddie, and all the older actors as well...they're all very sexy men.
