Ha! Bet Rupert Grint is upset. For all you lot who have watched the interview of Dan, Rupert &Emma on the 2nd Dvd of GOF, you would have known that Rupert was really looking forward to that storyline. I also, was looking forward to watching how they would do it on screen, and i'm pretty sure most other fans were too. I'm sure the director will come up with another idea that is better than "Weasley Is Our King" one....lets hope so.

Can we start a petition letter to WB? Maybe if they know that many fans do not like this "cutting" things it may awaken them a little. Do they read the books? It seems that they didn't know what is important ans what is not. They are giving emphasis on that chang kiss w/c is not so important and then cut the "weasley is our king" w/c is connected to the storyline of the book. Maybe its time that Potter fans should do something.

That's totally unfair! Weasley is our king was one of the best parts in the book! Take out quidditch, and you take out half of the storyline!

Hooray for Yates having the guts to cut out the bane of Harry Potter--quidditch. Now, I did like the development for Ron of having everyone rally behind him in the end, but ... quidditch just has to go. It's the least interesting element of the Potterverse. It has no deeper / more significant meaning--it's soccer with a change in rules. Yates does, though, now have the responsibility of making sure Ron gets the development he needs. As he was smart enough to cut quidditch, I trust he'll know how to take care of the consequences.
