MuggleNet interviews Potter cast
MuggleNet staffer Natalie attended today's premiere of Driving Lessons (photos here), starring Rupert Grint and Julie Walters, in London's Leicester Square. She managed to snag a short interview with Rupert Grint, and also spoke briefly to Emma Watson, Julie Walters, and Bonnie Wright.

She asked Rupert about his favorite scenes in both Driving Lessons and OOTP, his opinion on the Ron/Lavender relationship in Book 6, and much more. In Bonnie's interview, she talks about her friendship with Rupert off set, a typical day on the Potter set, and more. Bonnie's voice changed!!! and I love Ruperts voice lol

Posted by Susie Sep 4th 2006

Mmm I love his voice lol

Posted by HPgurl4eva Sep 4th 2006

I really like Ginny's voice! It isn't as high-pitched anymore, like in the second movie, and she sounds much more mature.

Posted by Loony335 Sep 4th 2006

I know! She's growing up. If I hadn't known better I would've thought it was someone else speaking.

Posted by HPgurl4eva Sep 4th 2006

So cool!

Posted by muggleborn Sep 4th 2006

awesome. i love rupert grint. i cant wait to see driving lessons!

Posted by Chrisell Sep 4th 2006

Those were cool interviews. Bonnie's voice is much deeper than I expected. It has a lovely lilt to it. I wish there was video to go along.

Posted by cheep_wand Sep 4th 2006

quidditch hurts??? i've never seen anything on how they've done it before. has anyone else?

Posted by TinaL Sep 4th 2006

Cool, Rupert looks tired in those close up pictures, anyways I think Rupert would love to do the Lavander/Ron scenes, he will enjoy it!!

Posted by Sally Sep 4th 2006

Posted by rhea Sep 4th 2006

Posted by cheep_wand Sep 4th 2006

Dude, EMMA LOOKS SO THIN AND PALE IN THOSE PICS. and different. I hope she's ok and everything. like- yeah.

Posted by TinaL Sep 4th 2006

cheep_wand, yes quidditch hurts, that is what Dan said in his interviews for GoF, now just imagine what part of Dan's body touches the broom, now that you have a better understanding YES Dan said that it hurts, his private parts!

Posted by flipgirl Sep 4th 2006

I love Rupert, great interview by the way!

Posted by DecemberDrops Sep 4th 2006

This is really exciting! I love cast news.

Posted by amandarose Sep 4th 2006

I can't wait to see both films! I'm SO excited! And oh yes Bonnie's voice has changed hasn't it? Well maybe it's because it was an interview not a movie that has been worked on with digital stuff.. who knows? Anyhow, I'm not surprised quidditch hurts, I guess I just never thought about it. I'm kinda bumbed it won't be in the movie but, let's cross our fingers and hope it comes out okay with out it. :)

Posted by potterfreak4eva Sep 4th 2006

Wished she'd asked Bonnie what she thought about the kissing in book 6 too. She's supposed to kiss Harry and Dean LOL!!! Lucky her, kissing two really cute guys.

Posted by RGfanatic Sep 4th 2006

Well, I hope people are more satisfied with Rupert's interview! He did a great job and answered some really good questions. I was also surprised to hear Bonnie's voice, but whaddya expect, she grew up! I can't wait to hear more interviews

It comes out October 13 in the US, I know someone was wondering, but only in select theaters because it's limited viewing. I'm really hoping I get to see it. :D

Posted by dumbledork62442 Sep 4th 2006

Was Dan also there? So is anyone going to go watch it when it comes out in the states? Wouldn't it be hilarous if were just as big as HP?

Posted by amandarose Sep 4th 2006

I'm sure it will come on DVD everywhere and if not you could prob order it online or something. I know I deff will cause I love anything and everything to do with HP and 2 of it's stars are in this movie and I think Rupert is such a cutie! :)

Posted by muggleprefect Sep 4th 2006

oh good..i dont want 2 NOT see it just cuz the stupid movie people wont play it everywhere..XD I

Posted by amandarose Sep 4th 2006

Yeah it's a little redick, I don't know why they do that it's so DUMB! What ev. All I know is that I will see it eventually one way or another. Good Night all. :)

Posted by jasmine Sep 4th 2006

I'm worried about Emma. She does look too thin. But maybe it's that atrocious dress or that almost straight hair. But her face also looked haggard. Maybe she realy stressed herself getting those ten As. Maybe she should take some tips from Dan - on how to juggle a killer work schedule with studies and still get good grades and still look good. BTW, Bonnie looks better in these pics. She's realy growing up. As for the Ron/Lavender kiss, I don't know if they'll even show that on screen. And if the filmmakers don't, maybe no H/G kiss either. These kisses do take away from the tragedy of Harry's experiences.

Posted by Chrisell Sep 4th 2006

THe H/G kiss is in there for sure but after the deletion of Quidditch from this movie, I'm now slightly worried about the Lav Lav. I hated that part of the story anyway but I would have adored seeing Rupert playing it on screen so I do hope it's a part of the HBP movie.
