MuggleNet interviews Potter cast
MuggleNet staffer Natalie attended today's premiere of Driving Lessons (photos here), starring Rupert Grint and Julie Walters, in London's Leicester Square. She managed to snag a short interview with Rupert Grint, and also spoke briefly to Emma Watson, Julie Walters, and Bonnie Wright.

She asked Rupert about his favorite scenes in both Driving Lessons and OOTP, his opinion on the Ron/Lavender relationship in Book 6, and much more. In Bonnie's interview, she talks about her friendship with Rupert off set, a typical day on the Potter set, and more. OMG emma got bangs! emma is so gorgeous, and just look at bonnie! She looks great! And I must admit rupert is growing on me..................... AND WHY ISN'T DAN THERE ?

I'm sorry, but the Emma interview bugs me. I realize shes a star of Harry Potter, but Driving Lessons was Rupert's turn to shine. I still love ya Rupert. Just because SOME people are too obsessed w/ annoying hyperactive 15 year olds...

Posted by TheTrueHeirofRavenclaw Sep 6th 2006

This also bothers me. EMMA IS FIRST ON THE CATEGORIES LIST. Driving Lessons has nothing to do with her, nor is she star of the universe. I'm afriad that Emma shall take over the world w/ her mindless minions. RUUUUNNNN!!!! (However should Rupert, Dan, James, or Oliver wish to take over the world with THEIR mindless minions, we may all still have a chance.)

Don't be so rude! She wouldn't do that on purpose!

Posted by HPgurl4eva Sep 6th 2006

You're second post is crazy.

Posted by TheTrueHeirofRavenclaw Sep 6th 2006

Why is it that it seems everyone on the comments page are OBSESSED EMMA FANS?! Jeeze, you cant throw a gnome on here without hitting one!

Posted by Dancer_1021 Sep 6th 2006

LOL. thats really cool.=]

Posted by TheTrueHeirofRavenclaw Sep 6th 2006

Whats really cool?? *evil grin for antagonizing rabid emma fans*

Posted by TheTrueHeirofRavenclaw Sep 6th 2006

Chrisell: They've gotta have Won-Won and Lav-Lav. That was a major maturing point for Ron as he realized that snogging does not a relationship make. He and Hermione also begin to realize their feelings for one another more. (anvil size hints anyone??) I'm really pulling for that story line. NOTE: I will apologize. I may have been mean about Emma. Im just REALLY REALLY sick of her getting all the spotlight.

TheTrueHeirofRavenclaw, people are just posting their thoughts and feelings and all you seem to have done is bash. I think one of the reasons why Mugglenet switched to making people log on before they commented was to stop bashing (ONTD would love you though). I'm a MASSIVE Rupert fan and I'd have prefered it if most of the online pictures were of him but there seemed to be more of Emma and Bonnie. But I accept that girls and their outfits make more headlines. But every sensible person knows that this was Rupert and Julie's night. When we go to see the film (and then record it from ITV1 when it comes on like I will) it's for Rupert. I'm secure enough as a Rupert fan that I don't need to bash Emma or anyone else. I've met her before and she's lovely. I was at this premiere and there were at least as many people screaming for her as for Rupert, Bonnie and Julie. That's just the way it is, but by bashing her and her fans you'll just alienate yourself.

Well, this thread has deteriorated. Am I the only one who's starting to think Harry Potter fans are touched in the head? So what if Emma was there. It was still obviously Rupert's night and since he looked like he was hiding behind Julie when they were doing the photos except for those with the fans (to which he's an absolute darling), I would say he doesn't care if Emma and Bonnie preen for the cameras. You people are always making a big deal about nothing and I don't think it's Rupert fans but other people trying to stir up stuff. I've seen the videos, I've seen the pictures and anyone with half a brain can see how it really went down. Don't allow the haters to intrude on this wonderful time for Rupert. They are just getting desperate and it's showing.

Posted by TheTrueHeirofRavenclaw Sep 7th 2006

Ok, you guys are right. I am sorry for all the bashing of Emma, I was just frustrated and Emma just gave me a chance of something to yell and complain about. It was immature of me and I do apologize. Sorry everybody.
