New clip from Dan's appearance on 'Extras'
Ricky Gervais, the creator and director of "Extras," was interviewed tonight on UK late-night talk show Jonathan Ross. During the interview, several clips from the new series of "Extras" were shown with one featuring Daniel Radcliffe. Thanks to Mandy, we have a video of what was aired below. However, the content of the video is in no way child-oriented and we therefore advise you to view with caution. Click here to see it.

Julie Walters also made an appearance on the show where she spoke a little about Driving Lessons and the trio, saying that she found it surprising that they were still so normal and down to earth. Thanks to everyone who emailed!

Posted by skates Sep 8th 2006

I don't get it! someone please explain the adult humor, i'm awful.

Posted by TinaL Sep 8th 2006

skates, did you check the warning, I think you are a kid since you said "adult humor" meaning is adult, so you should have not seen it!!

Posted by jacob Sep 8th 2006

cool i kinda have a hard time understanding ron(rupert) but its probly cause i am from nothern minnesota

Posted by polish Sep 8th 2006

i agree with TinaL, someone please post this video online!

Posted by Chrisell Sep 8th 2006

Rupert isn't in the clip so what are you talking about jacob? Anyway, poor Dan. He's really trying hard. I thought that was a very funny clip. Is he trying to break away from his Harry Potter image? LOL. I love English humour.

Posted by laxgirl101191 Sep 8th 2006

Omg super funny!.....he's surprisingly very good in a comedy! Can't wait to see it!

Posted by Kiwi_Chick Sep 8th 2006

------I thought Dan was all ready being reconised as Elija Wood too much all ready? So why does he wan't to highten it by prestending to put on the ring?------

Posted by Tauriel Sep 8th 2006

Heh, now that was HILARIOUS! :-P I loved Dan's "meaningful" look at the beginning - though he looked a bit awkward with that condom... :-P Still, gotta love the British humour. Hmm, it would certainly be interesting seeing Dan (or even better, Rupert) in a Monty Python sketch. ;-) Nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more, knowhatamean? ;-) :-D

Posted by polish Sep 8th 2006

that was really hilarious. oh god, i can't stop watching it. hahaha oh darn it. i won't be able to see it, because im not from britain, neither usa. i hope dear mugglenet post the episode here or i don't know.

Posted by WickedWitch Sep 8th 2006

That's really funny, I can't believe they've made references to HP like that!

Posted by moondust Sep 8th 2006

Was the clip removed or is there something you have to do to watch it? I cannot view it.

Posted by Tauriel Sep 8th 2006

Kiwi_Chick: Eh, he wasn't "pretending to put on the Ring". ;-) He was indicating some *other* activity... ;-) If you didn't get it right away, I suppose you're not old enough to watch the video... :-P

Posted by GalaGala Sep 8th 2006

Ah, that was rahter shocking!!!! I'm still staring at the empty space!! I heard there were clips from Driving Lessons too, where are they??

Posted by zachwampler Sep 8th 2006

That was hilarious. I didn't think Radcliffe would be any good. Glad to be wrong.

Posted by HryPtrLuvr14 Sep 8th 2006

Oh...my...god... If you don't mind, I am going to cry now...

Posted by Sally Sep 8th 2006

OMG IM SHOCKED LOL!!!! Dan.. in adult comedy.. :| SHOCKING lol

Posted by Kiwi_Chick Sep 8th 2006

No, I get it Tauriel, I just can't belive how grown up our Dan is... I really want to be that Lady right about now!

Posted by Chrisell Sep 8th 2006

Yeah, I agree with GalaGala, where are the clips for Driving Lessons?

Posted by performingmonkey Sep 8th 2006

That's classic. I knew Gervais would have him doing something like this, good on Dan for doing it. This short scene proves Dan would be great at comedy. It's funny how Gervais has him wearing the HP glasses, brilliant! What is crazy is that originally Ricky wanted Dan to be playing this unruly schoolkid but the WB suits said Dan can't wear a school uniform in anything because it's somehow a reference to HP! So, what does he do, have him in a Scout uniform!! There was also a clip of Rupert and Julie Walters in Driving Lessons if anyone wants to upload that.

Posted by keri_potter Sep 8th 2006

OH MY GAWD!!!! that was the funnist thing ive seen in awhile. im glad to see dan so out of character from H.P. its good hes not type casted. the comdom part made me laugh so hard i cried.

Posted by TinaL Sep 8th 2006

OMG dan looks so confortable and so natural, and the "I hope is big enough" OMg this guy amaze me all the time!

Posted by skates Sep 8th 2006

Hey I am not a kid but I just don't get sexual jokes. I thinks it's disgusting but I would like for someone to explain in this circumstance.

Posted by red_bull89 Sep 8th 2006

that was the funniest thing ever. some of hte stuff he was saying.... OMG!!!! ha ha ha.

Posted by polish Sep 8th 2006

not-older-enough people won't get the joke, but i like the things they are saying or thinking :)

Posted by Luisa Sep 8th 2006

hahaha that was hillarious Dan's such a great actor I hope that when the whole thing does air somone will upload it, seeing as I live in the States

Posted by Hedwig949 Sep 8th 2006

Can somebody post a transcript of the dialogue? The sound on my comp is swrewed up, so I can't really understand what they're saying...But from what I gather, Dan has progressed to much more adult humor.

Posted by Dharma Sep 8th 2006

If you're not understanding the jokes, then you're probably not old enough to be watching this. It really just proves the point of the age: it's not that there's anything wrong with watching it, it's just that you don't get it. I thought Dan was terrific!! I had to watch the clip a couple of times - the first time I just stared with mouth open, talk about weird and unexpected to watching saying all that stuff! Good for him :)

Posted by lilac_kazz Sep 8th 2006

omg...it was awsome..!!!

Posted by polish Sep 8th 2006

yeah dharma is right
