I work in a movie theatre and we just got three of those posters in today. I tried buying one off my boss but it was a no go. We will however get the movie Happy Feet in tomorrow (we always get movies the day before they come out) and I'll be watching the trailer tomorrow night. So haha to those of you who have to wait until Friday, j/k.

This might not be a big deal to a lot of people cuz i know it happens way more at other schools but this kind of thing doesn't happen where i live... it's scary... i need some good ole' cheering up... "You will lose everything"??? uhhh.... what does Harry lose? Sirius, Quddich(kinda) sanaity, public image... I think something better would maybe be "Dark and Difficult times are upon you" like last time's or "The truth will never be believed" or i don't know what else...... they're not perfect, but the one on the poaster isn't either...

Voldemort looks very good. Nice and eerie. "You will lose everything" sounds kind of lame. I wish they would come with something better than that. I think "something wicked this way comes" is where they peaked.

I suppose if you look at it, Year 5 is when Harry REALLY begins to lose everything, because of Voldemort. He lost his parents, but hardly remembers them. He loses friends and people's trust for telling the truth (about VOLDEMORT), he loses almost all priveleges, he loses the people he truly cares about (from year 5 onwards). And in year 6, he loses more people, AND his chance for happiness, ALL BECAUSE OF VOLDEMORT.

This is really exciting! This as a first one isn't that great, but I'm sure the ones to come will be much better- and it still is good. Chilling, even. The slogan's a little much though, I agree with those who have said that. But still... COOL!!! I'm so excited! 239 days!

I like it a lot. The Tag-line "You Will Lose Everything." is SO good!!!!!!! Because, like I once read in a book (Looking for God in Harry Potter, by John Granger (really good)) you have to ask yourself "What DOES Harry have left at the end?" The answer of course is "not much". But you all knew that already so why am I writing it? Because I am strange that way I guess.... Sorry....

lol i was shocked when i saw it...i was expecting some lame poster with harry potter and his lightning bolt scar but instaed got a disturbing pricture of voldemort. This poster has made me want to see OotP 10x more...which is INSANE!!!

Very nice use of Finnes/Voldy. It gives me dim hope that this film doens't dissapoint me as much as GOF did.

Harry DOES lose everything, or nearly... He is terribly abused by the DADA teacher, Everyone think that he is mad (INCLUDING Dumbledore, well or possessed), He is humiliated nearly every day in the Daily Prophet, AND he loses the closest thing he really knows as a father, Sirius. And more than anything ease he loses the fact the Hogwarts is safe. Up till the 5th book Hogwarts is always the place that Harry feels safe, and not it has been infiltrated by the Ministry of Magic....

WOAH that's cool but awkward...because Voldie kinda looks like a pimp/gangsta/thug with no accessories. But that phrase is really catchy "you will lose everything". I did NOT expect Voldie to be on the poster; I thought it'd be the D.A. and stuff.

Really, the slogan is bringing up bile, but the picture rocks. I'm glad voldy got his own poster - and he's not 'a little character'. He's the villian, only now he isn't lurking on the backs of other people's heads. Now he's walking and talking and killing. I'd say that's poster-worthy. I kind of wish there was an Umbridge poster or something. With her pointing at the camera and saying "Join the Inquisition!". Sort of like Uncle Sam propaganda.

I agree about the line. It probably will be a big dramatic line that they use in all the trailers. But I don't think that Voldemort would say that. The worst possible thing to Voldemort is death, not loosing everything. Loosing everything would probably be one of those things that Dumbledore would say was worse than death. It's not very cannon in my opinion at all. But is a dramatic line and I'm sure that it will send chills up everyone's spine when they hear Voldemort whisper it in the trailers.

Meh the promo poster looks lame. A gangster promo picture would be of harry ron and hermione together. Ron has his arms around hermione and she's naked while harry is in the background. Sort of like the picture for dawson's creek season 3. That promo picture would own so much.

Are you people really getting that upset over a slogan! Who cares! It's HP and we should love it anyway. Plus, there's hardly anything that's original anymore so sit down, shut up, and get used to cheesy slogans. I happen to like the poster. The only correction that I'd make is "You must not telll lies!" That such are part of the fifth book. Hopefully they'll come out w/ an Umbridge poster.
