!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT :)

Posted by Katie_Grint Nov 16th 2006

I love love love the caption for some reason. But this better not be the first poster that would be out to the public. I wouldn't want Voldy in my room...I just wish the trio was on it.

See, I'm not blown away by that. But I can't wait for the movie, and yay for the trailer on Friday ...

Posted by littleaudrey Nov 16th 2006

Maan Voldy needs red eyes! It's pretty cool but seriously what in the world does "You will lose everything mean"? Voldermort never uses that threat in the books. Lame. Well whatev...im still seeing happy feet Friday...

Posted by Joirose Nov 16th 2006

I am pretty sure that the movie is going to be PG-13. The trailer is PG. I hope the films never get to a "R" rating.

What a crappy slogan.

Posted by AnimalLover Nov 16th 2006

creepy, but dosn't say much except for voldy. too blah. Don't get me wrong, not that it's boring, the poster's great! But there's too little...i mean just voldy and....nothing else!! There should be at least some other theme. Somethng to tell us what the movie is...not just showing a scary picture of the villan

I hate the way Voldemort looks. Tom Riddle was supposed to be a very handsome man. I know all his physical beauty was ruined by what he did to himself and the consequences of his acctions but some one can look evil while still having a nose. I think Voldemort would have been scarier if he looked more humanlike and like someone we could actually encounter. The Voldemort in my head looks nothing like this weird nose-less version that inspires more scorn and dissapointment in me than terror.

OMG guys guess what???!!!! CHRIS COLOMBUS' NEPHEW goes to my high school (the school's in Illinios)! I didn't even know! The guy is a senior now & he's so nice (he doesn't have a british accent tho)! He met Dan and Emma and Rupert! This is the closest I've ever been to knowing those three myself! The guy was in the second movie (a hufflepuff in the studyhall scene) , a deleted scene in the second movie (when Neville comes into great hall after leg-locker curse), and now in a high school play at my school (I was in the play, too, thats how we met)!!! That just made my week!! P.S. Great poster :) !!!

I'm upset about the logo - beyond being cheesy as so many folks have pointed out - WHY WHY?!? wouldn't they use something Jo wrote? I mean, she's nothing short of brilliant..."you will lose everything" isn't scary or intimidating and Lord Voldemort definitely IS!! I can't say I'm surprised, because frankly, I've been disappointed by just about everything about the movies (I should note that I am not much on special effects; I can recognize that they were pretty impressive). I think the third did the best job of catching the "feel" of the books, but (*mourning*) so much left out....

i like the picture alright but not so much the slogan. i always pictured voldie looking like victor on underworld. i know its strange but thats just the way i saw him when i read the books. but he looks pretty good this way too.

Posted by AveryJ Nov 17th 2006

I could totally hear Voldemort saying in a cruel whisper, "You will lose everything" when I first saw the slogan. Also, I'm lovin' that wrought-iron wordmark.
