Potter actors attend Eragon premiere
At yesterday's Eragon premiere in London, Katie Leung, Bonnie Wright, and the Phelps Twins were present at the film's first showing, and they attended the after-party. You can see a few photos at Shurtugal and at Getty! Thanks to everyone who e-mailed with the tip.

The phelp twins rock. Katie looks beautiful. I just found out that the Phelp twins are going to be at a theatre near me for the OotP premiere. It is going to rock. First post

Posted by ginnyfan Dec 12th 2006

It looks as though Bonnie Wright was there as well.

Posted by GinevraPotter Dec 12th 2006

Yes, Ginnyfan noticed too that are sweet Bonnie was there as well.

Posted by Helene Dec 12th 2006

Looks like a great movie; nice to see the cast supporting it!

Posted by flippinfool13 Dec 12th 2006

cool..cool....gotta love the Phelp twins!!! I read Eregon (sry thats probubly not spelt right..) like, a couple years ago and it was really good...although, i dont really see how they could make that huge (pretty complicated) book into a movie.....what am i saying?!! they've been making the HP movies for years!!!! lol well, i guess we'll have to wait and see how it turns out :)...

Posted by MuggleTowne Dec 12th 2006

well that is sweet...supportive...i am going to see it on friday for the US premiere...really excited...the book was good! TOP 10!!!

Posted by Lusito Dec 12th 2006

Yes, noticed Bonnie there too

Posted by Tiaraforkiara Dec 12th 2006

yeah, haha .. good job guys! :)

Posted by Nusayba Dec 12th 2006

I can't wait to see Eragon myself! Looks like it is going to be really good. It's cool that some cast from Potter went.

Posted by auror1470 Dec 12th 2006

It was great to see them supporting the film....Bonnie is just as beautiful as ever...Katie looks great and the Phelps have those winning smiles....

Posted by Juliegranger Dec 12th 2006

cnat wait for that movie! Bonnie is gorgeous, like always

Posted by bwof Dec 12th 2006

For a long time I didn´t want to know about eragon because it reminded me of a mix wannabe between harry potter and the lord of the rings. But those stories are great so why shouldn´t this be? The film is coming soon and I have changed my mind and I am just on my way to check out the book. Stories like these are wonderful and the writer is so young :), cool for him, I hope the movie does well in the box office.

Posted by ChatNoir Dec 12th 2006

Katie's looking beautyful :) but i get bad karma from eragon... then again, i used to get bad karma from hp too ages ago, and look how it turned out ;)

Posted by Eriskay Dec 12th 2006

Well, this is... I mean, Katie looks... Ok, no intention to be rude, bit I wish she'd thought of holding whatever-she's-holding in one hand, 'cause then her arms would've been in a slightly different position. At least we know how nice she looks normally. On the contrary, the Phelps twins are marvelous and the picture of Bonnie gives me hope for movie 6.

Posted by pudella Dec 12th 2006

She gets to kiss Harry AND go on a double date with the Phelps twins? Lucky girl! Just kidding...and yeah Bonnie is in there also.

Posted by Lord_Voltmorph Dec 12th 2006

I was there... I sat about 20 feet from the Phelps twins and saw Katie Leung, but I don't know where she sat. I didn't see Bonnie, unfortunately. The movie was really good.

Posted by HarryPotterFreakSophia Dec 12th 2006

i hate eragon

Posted by SquirrelyTonks Dec 12th 2006

shiny... the twins AND eragon in one news message... that is uber coolio.

Posted by Muse_d69 Dec 12th 2006

Hmm, I want to see this film :) Happy Birthday D69ers!

Posted by linah Dec 12th 2006

cool hey did any ov u guys read the eragon book it really rocks u no its nearlly as good as harry potter hhhehehe

Posted by harv Dec 12th 2006

i totally noticed Bonnie being there as well--she's gotten better looking with age. And Katie--dayyaammmnnn looking good!

Posted by SiriuslyHP Dec 12th 2006

yay it's nice to see them supporting that film. I read the books (nowhere near as good as Harry Potter, but still entertaining) and I agree that it would be somewhat difficult to put that into a movie but I want to see it anyway :) I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE OOTP PREMIERE!!!!!

Posted by dglaney Dec 12th 2006

Yes, Bonnie was there as well. (As previously stated by a ton of people). She looks pretty, and Katie was dressed nicely from what I could see. (Her face was rather blurry). Got to love those twins! I loved the book Eragon and the sequel, but I'm worried about the movies. I'm excited to see it, but am trying not to get my hopes up so I won't be dissapointed.

Posted by iwishiwashermione Dec 12th 2006

the movie looks pretty good. i want to read the book first though. did you know patrick doyle, who wrote the music for GOF, wrote the music for eragon? i thought that was kind of interesting.

Posted by AmberEyes Dec 12th 2006

Wow... best of both worlds, eh? I like Eragon, I just think it's WAY too cliche.

Posted by Wand Dec 12th 2006

Katie Leung is looking THINNER than she did in GoF do you think the movies put them up to it? Emma Wastson's nearing anorexic too and Dan Radcliffe's well... you can see his bones and veins stick out these days. Probably overworked?...pffft

Posted by dementor_dan Dec 12th 2006

I've also read Eragon and it's quite good book(but it doesn't even compare to Harry Potter). I'm also planning to go see the movie. It looks pretty good. For those who want to read the book. there's also a sequel called "Eldest". Enjoy! : )

Posted by AccioSeverus Dec 12th 2006

yay! eragon rocks, i love seeing two of my favorite fandoms come together!

Posted by skates Dec 12th 2006

wow! Katie is looking skinny!! much skinnier than she was in Gof and Dan Radcliffe's looking pretty thin these days too. I hope their not over working themselves...hmmmpppp.... Katie is really beautiful! I have never read Eragon and I don't plan too....

Posted by daritzcwacka Dec 12th 2006

Yeah, since there isn't too much harry potter stuff going on right now i have been 'living' on shurtugal...just waiting for more stuff from eragon :P i saw those and was like "cool! hp people watching eragon!" the guys over at shurtugal are so lucky! they get to me the eragon cast AND some of the hp cast...no fair :(

Posted by HPbrownLove1 Dec 12th 2006

looks awesome! Also, to everyone that commented on bonnie wright being there, it says she was there on the original posting... And Katie DOES look really pretty!

Posted by bubblettes Dec 12th 2006

Uh no. The actors look fine. Emma, Dan, and Katie are not anorexic, just skinny. Being skinny does not equal being anorexic/bulimic. There's a healthy-skinny too. Please be more sensitive. I get called 'anorexic' because I'm just skinny and I have trouble gaining weight. It's not only rude, but also extremely offensive. It's comments like these that turn healthy people into anorexic ones. There's nothing wrong with holding a bag with two arms. I do it all the time. Your arms look perfectly normal that way. It's called the human body and anatomy. Accept it.

Posted by nevermoreaddict Dec 12th 2006

Ugh. I am practically embarrassed for them. Scratch that, I'm just embarrassed. It looks like Eragon is pretty popular here, but I make no secret of hating it. The book was garbage and the movie looks as though it will be far worse.

Posted by hpintwense06 Dec 12th 2006

aww Katie looked cute. and the twins - hot. lol ok yeah for some reason i can't help but want to hate this movie... it looks good though, but i keep thinking "what about Harry Potter?!? that's a good series too!" i donno i just feel like this movie is taking away from HP. does anyone understand that? maybe that's just me....

Posted by blastedgoose Dec 12th 2006

people who are calling eragon "garbage"...even though u didnt like the book, you shouldnt be calling it that! that makes u as bad as people who call harry potter "garbage." we all have our own opinions, and we should express it in a more respectful manner. if you didnt like it, then just say u didnt like it. katie IS skinnier, but she is not anorexic! she looks great, ok? ppl used to call her fat, now they are calling her anorexic. geez, why cant she just be "normal"? im really excited for the ergaon movie. granted, the book was not the best iv read. you gotta consider the fact that paolini wrote it when he was 15-19. iv read the second book, eldest, and it is much better.

Posted by IBM62 Dec 12th 2006

Eragon doesn't look so bad EXCEPT from watching the previews, it looks like Saphira isn't going to talk which is really disapointing IMO. I looked at the cast and credits too and there is no voice actress for her. She just grunts and roars and stuff. A big part of the book was that Eragon can talk to his dragon! It doesn't work if they cut that HUGE thing out.

Posted by Ginny_Harry Dec 12th 2006

I'm so excited. Huge Eragon fan, and Edward Speleers ( guy who plays Eragon) is a major hottie!

Posted by DRluvr Dec 12th 2006

Bonnie is sooo ardorable there! I really want to se the movie I havn't read the book but it sounds good. LUV POTTER MORE!!!! he he he (I'm wierd) :D

Posted by mandybrocklehurst Dec 12th 2006

HAH! Patrick Doyle did the music... they must have had the same designer for the movie poster too... who did this movie anyway, warner bros.?

Posted by harrypotteretard Dec 12th 2006

Wait, but doesn't Christopher Paolini live in America? So why was the premiere of HIS movie/ book in London? And why did they use a British actor for Eragon? Even if he was really hot.

Posted by Grey Dec 12th 2006

So, so, so excited to go see it! Friday!!! Yeah! (also my half birthday--not that that means much:P)

Posted by DecemberDrops Dec 12th 2006

I have not read Eragon myself, but I'm having a great time reading it to my friends, Benjamin and Jack ... and they both love it.

Posted by Nameless Dec 12th 2006

Eragon looks okay, I guess, but I haven't read the books yet, sooo...yeah. Anyway, they look nice and none of them are anorexic. Calling someone anorexic is just as cruel as calling someone who isn't super skinny fat. Besides, I'm pretty sure that Katie and Emma are--or at least Emma is--naturally thin. But they both look healthy. Okay? Okay.

Posted by GeorgeusGirl Dec 12th 2006

HarryPotterRetard.. the actors are mostly English.

Posted by kkatid Dec 12th 2006

yeah, I liked Eragon the book, but the movie doesn't look that good. I'll see it anyway, just like I love HP books but can't stand the movies, and yet I am always first in the movie theaters the night they come out.......

Posted by Invaderk Dec 12th 2006

Lmao. I found this out through Shurtugal and was very amused. The Eragon books are pretty good (if a little wordy), but I've only read them once. If you knew how many times I've read the HP series (in several languages as well, if you count UK-vs-US lingo and Spanish). I just don't think anything can compare to our favorite series! Perhaps it's a time thing.

Posted by hermyron Dec 12th 2006

Wow. Christopher Paolini comes from a tiny town in Montana, not too far from where I live. Our newspaper was printing bits about him when he was just a nobody...its amazing to think how worldwide he's gone since. You should see what he wrote in my copy of Eragon...though I doubt I could get him to sign my book now, with him internationally famous and a movie and video game and all in the works! Did it really come out today? I thought it came out on the 15th...and it'd be weird if it came out later here than in England.

Posted by trueligth Dec 12th 2006

This is cool, to bad Dan (Harry) was not there but battle a dragon is not the same as ride one. I thinks Harry will be a very good dragon rider, he likes to fly. HaHaHa.

Posted by cami Dec 12th 2006

I LOVE Eragon!!!!!!!!! I saw this first through Shurtugal. Hehe!

Posted by mugglequeen Dec 13th 2006

oo.. i can't wait to see the movie! I haven't read the second book yet, will that matter? Oh well i'll have to read it soon.
