This was SO not a good news day to be checking mugglenet news on THE SCHOOL COMPUTER! Oh my Dawlish! I thought I landed on some porn site or something by accident! I was desporately trying to hit exit but my arrow kept missing because I was freaking out (especially once I realized that it was really dan!). After reading/skimming every page of the comments, I have a couple things to say. Getting on Emmerson's case about the photos has got to stop. If you acually took the time to read the post first, it should be more than enough setup for what the pics would be like. As for little kids clicking on the images, my opinion is that anyone under the the age of thirteen should have a parent with them whenever they are online without exception, and anyone considered a minor in their country should still be monitored to a realistic extent. Parents, you know, those people that decided to have kids, should have a clue what their young ones are looking at and should prevent them seeing anything they deem unexceptable. That is their job. End of story. Sorry, the whole internet/music/movies/gam es/tv excuse people use to blame their children's behavior on instead of their own ineptitude to be a parent is one of my hot button issues right now.

So, because I'm currently doing the sleep-deprivation part of a sleep-deprived EEG, and I truly have nothing else to do, I will comment once more (my first comment being on the first page). I cannot believe how narrow-minded, ignorant and just generally ridiculous some people are being. Daniel Radcliffe is an actor. Like the majority of actors, he will play as more than one fictional character throughout his lifetime. Not necessarily all directors are looking for someone famous to throw into their plays--they very likely saw an amount of talent that they deemed appropriate for the particular role they would have him play. Obviously, to the director of the play, it is financially beneficial to have a 'famous' or 'well-known' actor play the lead role in his or her work; so sure, this is likely a factor as well. It would be naïve to dismiss this aspect—it is prominent in the making of the majority of high-budget blockbuster films. Dan's maturity and growth (in skills, primarily) has obviously impressed someone enough that they would have him act in his or her play-- I don't understand why some people here find this a negative thing! Shouldn’t we, as fans, be happy for Radcliffe's maturity and fame? And really, to those people who look squeamishly over his amount of body hair: it's his choice and the director's choice. Obviously, you can voice your opinions, just as I am now, but where's the point in putting him down? He’s done an amazing job at developing his talent over the past several years, and I really feel that fans should appreciate and congratulate him on his partaking of a new and diverse role. I hope this doesn’t result in several “don’t you have anything better to do with your time?� replies, because no, it’s 5:50AM and my appointment isn’t until 8:30AM and I’m literally not allowed to sleep. = )
