I think it's funny that many of you are commenting on his "hairy" chest and stomach. That's nothing. My husband isn't "monkey boy" or anything, but he's got way more hair. And, for you young ones at there, here's a little "advice" - when I was in high school, the thought of a hairy chest was disgusting to me. Totally revolting. But, I fell in love with my husband before I saw his chest. I fell in love with his personality and I know his cute face and muscular body (I could tell that even under the security officer uniform and safety gear). I only learned later that he had a hair chest . . . and you know what. It doesn't bother me! Anyway, by all means, have a preference. I'm not telling you not to. Just realize that Dan's hairyness is nothing really. And actually, a little hair does help him to look more manly, rather than like a 12 year old boy (although I have no problem with Brad Pitt and Matthew McCounaghy (is that how you spell that - who cares, right?). But they have the look of men, so that helps. It's like Leonardo Di Caprio in Titanic. He looked like a little boy. Now, he looks like a man.

I left a comment earlier saying OMG !!! But now, after getting over the shock, Dan looks rather, dare I say it, sexy. The thing the I was freaked out about was that I had just watched the first movie just before that, so I had this mind set of a little kid doing this. However, Dan is not that little eleven year old boy and this is the perfect way to let people know that he is much more than Harry Potter, and for that I applaud him.

When I first looked at this yesterday I went OMG! This is Harry Potter he's so young! But then I realized that he's only two years younger than be almost exactly but it's still strange. We all think of him as the boy wizard, but that's what he's trying to get away from so he's switching it up now while he's still doing Harry Potter and he doesn't just hop into these roles so we get used to it now before the series is all over. I must say though I still feel a bit dirty/naughty while looking at these because he isnt 18 just yet and I mean he's HARRY POTTER for crying out loud. I never really thought of him as very attractive because I only saw him as a little boy but I look at him in these pictures and its like wow I guess he is turning into a man. But wasn't it barely six months ago we were all talking about his first onscreen kiss and now he's onto sex scenes... hmm. All in all I respect what he is doing. I've had so much fun giggling at all of the comments on here so much so that I thought I'd have to comment. Loving the hairy comments - seriously can't belive that some people think THATS hairy! On a slightly more serious note - I think there needs to be some focus on the non gratuitous nature of the nudity in the play, it's an integral part but not the whole part. Dan looks incredible and is very brave to take on such a challenging role. He's also very brave to 'get nekid' as I well know (did it for the show HAIR and found it exhilarating and terrifying all at the same time) As for his young age, you know 17 really isn't that young I suspect if you asked him about most *stuff* he'd say been there done that got that t-shirt! on a lighter not... HOT HOT very HOT (looks a bit like my other half so I guess in a way I'm contractually obliged to say that)

I love the new pics! I think my favorite one is the one of Dan surrounded by smoke. Now that is sexy! It saddens me though, to see that some fans say they will never be able to see Harry Potter in the same way again. To me, Harry will always be Harry and Dan will always be Dan, and I think it is our job as fans to respect that. I know it's inevitable that Laura Mallory will find these pics, but seeing as she has failed miserably in all of her attempts to ban these books, I don't think we need to worry. I'm a dancer and I've researched for various school projects famous dancers/choreographers. Martha Graham, for example, choreographed one piece [at least I only know of one], where the dancers had to be nude. While this was very controversial, as Equus also is, when has art not be controversial?
