Well...THAT certainly doesn't leave much to the imagination! Yummy!

Posted by swedenrose3 Jan 29th 2007

Kudos to Dan for taking a risk. Having said that... I have seen FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR too much Dan today. I think that I may need to do a forgetful charm before I watch HP again.

Posted by roxygal Jan 29th 2007

Um...wow. Well hello Dan! *fans self*

Posted by nearly_headless_nick Jan 29th 2007

Quidditchgirl24, you can write all the ignorant comments you want, at the end of the day, you are not a wizard and you can't guess what will happend in the future. Btw, Harrison Ford never played a difficult character in theatre, and not everyone thinks he is a good actor, you see, there are always different opinions for everything. Like the article says, Dan is a very confident person, you won't change that lol. An actor can be remembered for a role and that doesn't mean he can not continue playing other roles. To me, Renée Zellweger will always be Bridget Jones, and that doesn't mean anything else, I go to see her in other movies. You shouldn't talk about a play you obviously haven't read. It was awarded with the most important awards, it is used in schools in philosophy and drama classes, it's a brilliant play, and his brilliant writer chose Dan, a talented actor, to play a very difficult role so it means Dan plays it very well. If you don't want to accept it, it's your problem. Writing comments like that you only show you are an angry, negative and sad person. I'm sorry for you.

He is looking HOT!!! The beird really suits him!!

Posted by smellysocks Jan 29th 2007

He is looking soo hot! i would never have thought he could but WOW!! Good luck to him, i would love to see the play! :)

Posted by Xindaeltal Jan 29th 2007

I respect the fact that some people like seeing this...but it also disturbs some of us (me, for one). I don't mind them posting it up here for others, but couldn't they have had a link rather than putting it there for all to see? Just my opinion, you don't have to spaz at me.

Posted by Hollie Jan 29th 2007

*fans herself* It's so wrong, yet so good. Phwooooooooar

Don't know what to say because this 32 year old girl is just drooling!!! :)

Posted by aespejo104 Jan 29th 2007

oh wow!!! he looks so much older!!!!

Posted by keri_potter Jan 29th 2007

OH MY!!!! im 10 years older then him and i couldnt help but say wow hes hot. i feel iky for even sayin it but wow. the one with the horse, that goes a bit low doesnt?

Posted by HoJpOj Jan 29th 2007

awww. He's so young! such a weird play for someone of that age to be in... i think its good that he seems such an open minded person, 'cause it is a controversial play. I remember reading it when i was 14, then wanted to watch the film at school for a media studies thing, but they wouldnt let us because it was "too disturbing" and "graphic"... hmm. It'll be interesting to see how they get some of that across on stage, obviously theres only so far they're allowed to go. good luck to him tho! Personally, I ADORE harry potter books, but i really dont like the films so much, and I thought dan was really rubbish until GoF (just my opinion before people shout at me lol), but if he got chosen to do something like this he must be getting alot better.. looking forward to order of the pheonix now! xxx

Posted by Fuesch Jan 29th 2007

Mmm, I like his hair like that. The hair on his head I mean, of course... I bet the manip makers are very happy now.

Posted by Rice12345 Jan 29th 2007

=O!?!?! *facepalm* *obliviates self*

Posted by stilapixie Jan 29th 2007

um, i know i have some worthwhile comments swimming around in my head, but they refuse to be put down in writing, mainly because... ZOMG, this is bordering on orgasmic! having... trouble... breathing... alright, i've recovered, for now. anyways, huge props to dan for his confidence and professionalism. i know i would've never been able to do something like that when i was his age.

Posted by mugglegurl Jan 29th 2007

AAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEE SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! AHHH!! LOL OH MI GOD! HAHAHA p.s. Doesn't he look a bit like elijah woods?? like seriously he does!

Posted by harryetmoi Jan 29th 2007

yuk he is so hairy NOT SO HARRY!

Posted by rivendellroseOSU Jan 29th 2007

Ok, now that I've recovered - some of you people are being just plain mean. Chill. As for the comment about leaving a link to the pictures (saying what they are of to prevent accidents), I thought that as soon as I saw it. I mean, I dearly dearly love them, but some people may be too young/not interested/don't want to see that. Merlin, he's a good looking one. And I agree with the director's first comment. :P

Posted by Tara188 Jan 29th 2007

Wow. I never really saw Dan as attractive before, because he was always little Harry Potter (and I preferred Rupert). But WOW. Has he grown up!

Posted by Edward88Italy Jan 29th 2007

Well...Oh my god....I have always imagined Daniel just like Harry. It has been a huge error. Daniel is not only Harry Potter. Now HE HAS A BEARD, and this is very strange. Strange because at the end of the fourth film he still looked like a child. Now, in those pictures, he looks like a mature boy, like a model (?), like a Daniel who tells you 'Hey...come here...look at my body...look at my face...look at me. I'm sexy. I'm not a boy any more. Arrrr'. UNBELIVABLE! Afterall I'm happy for him, he is really doing a fabulous job with his passion, acting. Enjoy Equus' cast has been a great idea; I think that Daniel, with his passion, could really, a day, become a true actor known not only for his HP roles but for his entire "curriculum". Sorry for any mistake!

Posted by keri_potter Jan 29th 2007

you know i kind of wished i lived in the U.K. now i would really like to see THAT play, hehe. and i agree with some of the other people he kind of does look like frodo. i would like to see rupert like this though ive had a small crush on him forever.

Posted by polish Jan 29th 2007

oh god, im speachless. i dont want to say anything but i TOTALLY AGREE with stilapixie.

Posted by Splizzash Jan 29th 2007

um....? Rather against my will, I'm impressed, darn it. It seems just a little weird to me somehow and therefore I cringe at the whole idea, but none-the-less, darn! Geometric features AND stubble...I just hope he's not doing this to try and prove something...

Posted by aprildot Jan 29th 2007

Personally it's awkward for me becuase he's 17, and well I'm much older. So I feel weird seeing that. But hey at least some other fans are drooling over themselves.

Posted by Hermione_Granger090894 Jan 29th 2007

...................I will NEVER think of Dan in the same way..................

Posted by speedy Jan 29th 2007

oh... my....god *flatlines*

Posted by evilbutsexy Jan 29th 2007

LOL I wonder how long it took him to grow that mini-beard...

Posted by blu_jean_girl Jan 29th 2007

Poor boy needs to get some sun. He's whiter than Napolean Dynomite.

Posted by Get_sirius Jan 29th 2007

OMG!OMG! OMG! I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!! HE'S SO GEORGOUS! WOW!by the way what's that girl doing with him? " BACK OFF HE'S MY MAN!"

Posted by evilbutsexy Jan 29th 2007

haha...blu_jean_girl...i thought the same thing. By the way people, I'm only 20 and I STILL think it's creepy that I find him attractive...(if he jumped in the tanning bed a couple times, he'd be really attractive)

Posted by iheart_ron Jan 29th 2007

wow i can't believe my eyeballs. i like the picture with the horse. and he does look a lot older with a little scruffyness.

Posted by Kid_A Jan 29th 2007

There's nothing to say - he's grown up soooo much. :D

Posted by Nosebleednougat Jan 29th 2007

I'm very very scared.....

Posted by blu_jean_girl Jan 29th 2007

why would he want to be in such a disturbing play anyhow. I personally hated it. But of course in "Serious" theatre only plays that are disturbing or controversial will ever be excepted. Heaven forbid people should actually be entertained or educated or uplifted and inspired by theatre. OK rant over.

Posted by ashley9706 Jan 29th 2007

I don't think that is Daniel Radcliffe. It doesn't look Like him and I don't think he would pose like that. I hope its not him although that guy is really sexy.

Posted by loonygirl Jan 29th 2007

OH MY GOD!

Posted by tovarbaker Jan 29th 2007

wasn't the detail in the article incorrect? Dan was discovered while doing a professional play? wasn't he, it may not have been professional. but I am quite certain he has performed in a play before

Posted by Tarragon Jan 29th 2007

To CeciliaJ, this 32 year old girl spent 20 minutes grinning like a bufoon on the train home after she opened the Evening Standard. It was nearly an hour before I remembered to text my fellow 30 something friend to tip her off about the photos. She's still hyperventilating! ;-)

Posted by Belsito Jan 29th 2007

I'm surprised! More positive comments than negative ones? Now THAT's more unusual than seeing Dan all grown up like this. When I saw those pictures I felt sorry for him because I was sure that he would get a tirade of insults (he gets them WHATEVER he does, it seems) but not a lot of venom has been spewed out (yet). Perhaps people found less to criticize because there IS NOT MUCH TO CRITICIZE. Anyone who still has full faculty of his eyes, WHATEVER HER AGE, must only find him GORGEOUS. Good luck Dan - I admire your determination and courage - you seem to have more b____ than what you're showing in this play!

Posted by playboy_mommy Jan 29th 2007

Oh my word... when did he get hot?!

Posted by heather_s_70056 Jan 29th 2007

I wonder how many people (I assume mostly girls) will see "Equus" just to see Dan Radcliffe naked. As an actor, I would find that really distracting, especially if some members of the audience can't control themselves during the nude scene. As a house manager ( the person who maintains the audience and instructs the ushers and other Front of house staff as to what to do ) that would be a nightmare. On any given night some crazed Harry Potter fan, and there's no denying that they exist (see wall of shame) could make a scene.

Posted by dancemama073 Jan 29th 2007

ahhhhhhhhhhh this COMPLETELY changes how I think of him.. imagine watching harry potter later this year, gahh

Posted by SEVERUSx Jan 29th 2007

I'm really impressed of Dan's courage. I'm impressed, I hope it goes well, but no doubt in that. He looks like E. Woods on the second picture too. Gorgeous pictures :]

Posted by dracodragon Jan 29th 2007

I didn't realize how buff he was. He's pretty hott lol.

Posted by HPluver13 Jan 29th 2007

wow he looks so much older....and what's with the beard?

Mark my words, the first words out of those poor petrified people's mouths will be 'It was Hagrid.' Frankly, I'm astounded Professor McGonagall thinks all these security measures are necessary.
