Although I do like Dan, those pics are really inappropraite. What kind of message is he sending to his fans. Not to mention having those pics posted on a HP site. I think Dan's timing was all wrong for those pics. If he's tryin to prove that he can act, he's going about all wrong. The play has been around forever and it's always been a controversial play and those pics he did, well, he obviously has no problem nearly baring it all but to have them posted on HP sites is just tasteless and is sending the wrong message to young fans, esp HP fans and also those pics I feel will spark more controversy. I can see in my opinion that Dan isn't gonna have a very successful acting career and that he's gonna make some bad decsions. Alot of child stars don't make it and are gonna be stuck with doing low budget flicks or doing other films that children should not be watching. Why couldn't Dan wait until the HP movies are over and done with before he put pics like that out. He could wait until the franchise is over and if he wants to do that sort of stuff, he can and I know alot of fans will not look at HP the same way again and some fans have already commented on that. Dan chose to do this play and more power to him because that's what he wanted to do but posting those pics on HP sites where there are children not to mention young HP fans visit is tasteless and should not have been posted. Why not just have him go totally nude and post those pics on here etc. NOT GOOD! So Dan, although I do like you, you should wait until after HP is over to do that kind of stuff if that's what you wanna do.

What I say is truthfull, not a lie to hate on Radcliffe. drevilz you are definitley right for the most part. But I have watched the Stars Wars movies a lot recently. The Luke Skywalker actor was alright in the first movie but he was really good in the second two. Dan has just flat out been mediocore in his first four movies in my opinion. Who does he think he is going nearly nude when he is what...17? My gosh.

I don't have anything against Dan, but I have a lot against these pictures. He just doesn't have the body to pull this off. Some of the pictures look like he's sucking in his stomach, there's weird patches of black hair, and he looks frightened. I don't see anything wrong with him doing semi nude pictures or being in the play, but the timing is all wrong. They're publicity photos for a really intriguing play, where there just so happens to be a part where there's nudity. And Dan just so happens to be playing that part. So now the photos are out. I personally don't have anything wrong with it. I love porn anyway lol. But on an HP site no, and I'm in America so I would view the age thing differently. Anyway, I'm fine with the play and him playing the role but the role would have been better for an unknown actor or somebody with more credit under their belt. If Dan does good with it then good. But if his career does do well with this I still think his body is off.

I first saw him on a local channel at home. I went WOW!!! He has defiently grown up. He is a great poser and actor. I wish that I could see him in this play. I, personally, find it a little awkward to see the renown Harry Potter playing a role in Equus. The role of Harry Potter is indeed etched in many of our minds-However, I commend Dan for trying to broaden his spectrum of films and plays. Acting is a fine art, and often, the meaning behind it gets lost and forgotten amidst all the popular and updated hits. Like painting or dancing or music, it is important to have a wide range of abilities or at least an understanding of the different forms of art. Who is to play violin well without knowing the bow? What is the use of drawing without exploring difference aspects of the utensil one wields? ------------------------- -(new paragraph lol)-------------------In a sense, participation in Equus is also a personal matter for Dan. Surely he is trying to prove to himself that he CAN do something normal teens cannot achieve. He wants to show people that he's more than Harry Potter-that he can fill in the role of numerous character types.------------------- ----------------(blah another new paragraph)--------------- ---------------------Reme mber, Equus is a play that displays the beautiful complexity of human anatomy and pschology. We artists explore concepts of anatomy and do not find it embarassing-maybe awkward for newcomers, but never a foreign, revolting issue. I believe that Dan's decision is justified. I support him with his role and wish the best at the play.

How Alan's mind works is one of the most interesting things that wonderful theater all over the world has to offer. Alan just doesn't care whether he's nude or not. Dan is just doing a very good career move. again, on caps lock: EVERYTHING IS NOT 100% MORAL-STANDING, THIS IS NOT SELLING PORN, THEY (the production crew) ARE JUST DOING THEIR JOB TO GIVE JUSTICE TO THE PLAY. I know I posted an OMG comment yesterday but reading some of these comments made me realize that there are alot of immature people responding. As an Actress I know how hard it is to go up on stage infront of hundreds sometimes thousands of people. Its nerve racking and It take alot of Guts and confidence to do what he is doing. The fact that his parents approve of what he is doing and possibly his Girlfriend (if he currently has one) then that should be enough for the fans. Dan is an Amazing actor and taking this big leap as an Actor. Even though in the eyes of this 17 year old girl Dan Radcliffe will Always be hot, I also Appreciate the fact that what he is doing with Equus is a big Leap of Fate with his Fans and his parents!

I am male but I just think it is funny how so many girls are freaking out over this. Ofcourse I would expect it but believe me if you saw Radcliffe without all the things the beauty people will do to make him look amazing for a photo or movie, you'd just look and say 'average'.
