Evanna: filming OOTP was 'brilliant and perfect'
The Luna Lovegood actress recently did an interview where she spoke in detail about the past year where she won the role of the quirky Ravenclaw. On whether she and Luna share similarities, Evanna says this:"Yes, quite a few. Our taste in clothes is very similar. I proudly and happily wore her clothes and I think she would wear mine too. I believe that almost anything is possible if you see the possibilities rather than the obstacles; Luna has some very unconventional beliefs that need no basis of fact and while I don't share them I think it shows us that she won't believe things are untrue until you have some very firm evidence. There is no evidence to suggest that The Crumple Horned Snorkack exists but there is no evidence to suggest that it doesn't exist, therefore she can believe in it. I think the main difference between us is that I am a lot more ambitious and that makes me serious. Luna is so free and seems to drift along with life, dealing with everything as it comes to her. I have more goals so I've more worries. I think that's why I love Luna so much. She doesn't have to have achievements or approval to feel satisfied and she's as wonderful and balanced a person as anyone could be. She knows worrying is pointless so she just floats and I really admire that in her."

Dragon_queen4ever: they didn't have it in OoTP. I know HBP is a lot shorter, but just about everything that happens is important. OoTP has a lot of stuff that can be left out (personally, I would've left out Harry and Cho stuff; it isn't important).

Me too. I hope I'm wrong. I hope they cast a good Slughorn. Actually, to tell you the truth, I'm sorta dreading HBP movie. Dumbledore is in the book so much, and Gambon is, IMO, a horrid Dumbledore. I wish he at least looked the part...

HBP is my favorite book, and I hope that they will do it justice. I wonder who they are going to cast as Lav-Lav. Rupert fangirls are going to hunt her down. :P

Yeah, I'm not sure whether the HBP movie is gonna be that great. There's a lot of important stuff and a lot of romance scenes. I don't think the romance scenes should be included cuz they're not really important, but knowing WB, they'r prolly gonna put in all the romance sub-plots and stuff.
That's true. I guess that's why I loved it so much. Everytime I re-read it, I want book 7 a hundred times more... GAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! 99 days... *tears at hair*
well im excited for the movie because i get to see harry again but like i kinda have a feeling its gonna be way to short just like GOF but whatev its still gonna be amazing just because its harry potter and anything that has to do with him its awesome :]]

Dragonprincess25 - you are free to express your opinions, but you don't have to do it so agressively. But I have to admit, she's got a point; sometimes when people do express their opinions (even if it isn't agressive), there are some people who attack them for it.
PEACE!!!!!! if you dont want to be attacked then dont put anything if you know thats how some people are and you wont get any bad results for it! i think it is rude what some poeple say but still everybody is gonna have their own opinion about every little thing somebody posts so if u put something u might getting something bad thats a risk you have to take and just deal with it.

Ah, Evanna. Whoever cast her was completely brilliant. I don't know about anyone else, but I have the feeling that this movie is going to be good.
They should seriously mass produce those raddish earrings =). I bet more ppl would buy them, because I'm guessing they wouldn't be as costly as the Hermione/Yule Ball earrings.

...and that is why Luna is easily my favorite Hogwarts student! She's a girl after my own heart...anyone wears radish earrings is ok in my book!

AAAH!! I'm so wildly jealous!! That's exactly how I dreamed acting on those kinds of movies would be like, and she gets to experience it!! But I'm so incredibly happy for her. She is a huge fan and gets to have all that fun. I'm totally pulling for her to steal the movie (With a little time left over for Tonks). I think WB really picked a winner this time.
Wow! Evanna Lynch sounds like a true Harry Potter fan. It makes me proud to know that there's someone vouching for bookfans like us on the movie set. I agree with her views on Luna completely! I know everyone (including JKR herself) keeps saying Evanna is perfect but now I truely know why!
Evanna is perfect for Luna. =) A true Harry Potter fan; understands her character perfectly; and anything else that needs to be known! She is so grateful for this expereince; and I am glad that she isn't being all stuck up about it. You got my support, Evanna!
She makes Luna sound like a wonderful person, which she is.
I love Luna! Evanna is so great, she will definately do the part justice. She sounds like her, and she really wants to do the part justice. They could not have found anyone better. I love reading her interviews, she is just like the rest of us, and she got a chance to live out her dreams. Way to go Evanna!
