WHAT NO LIGHTS!!!!! THEN HOW THE HECK DO THEY KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING =[????
no lights?? then how can they spoil it for us?!!
WEll Machines are able to make sure that things are collated properly how about if the machine makes a mistake? I know with big name books, especially first editions, you have to make sure everything is right or feel a huge wrath from the book publishers... It is impossible to completely work in the dark.
so far it sounds like no one believes the 'no lights' story...(as if...) i also agree with the safety issue.... and i certainly don't want to read page 392 before i read page 127. oh well....stories will be flying now...wonder how many more ridiculous stories yet to come. I can almost smell the wonderful pages on my new DH book.... sniff .....sniff..... going to POTC tomorrow. thanks for the heads up about being 3 hours long. too bad OOtP is only 138 minutes. shoulda been 2 hours and 45 mins....sorry for getting off topic.....
:):):):):):):):):):):):): ) ... exciting... and sad :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(: (
The searching i can understand..cause u can take like little scraps of the book and then part of the story could leak out ...which wuldnt be good...but the no light thing...LOL...how wuld they see what theyre doing....its just silly!! :D
that's funny
harsh.. work in the dark >.
In Germany? What ever, what about Denmark?
READ THIS, IT IS OF INCREDIBLE IMPORTANCE This regards to the Deathly Hallows. As we don't know anything about what the title means the Croatian translation might shed some light on it. The Croatian title is HP & SVECI SMRTNICI. Both words can be translated very, very easily to English. SVECI is the plural for SVETAC/SVETICA which means ''holy man/woman'' as in ''Jesus and Mary are SVECI''. SMRTNICI is the plural of the noun which means the oposite of IMMORTAL, hence MORTAL. So the title would be ''HP and the HOLY MORTALS'' which could possibly refer to the trio. I hope this means something to you... bye...
No Lights??? ISNT THAT AGAINST THE LAW????? like unfit working conditions or something? im guessing that since "total darkness" is in quotes that its not totalyy dark is it??
Wow, that's really exciting that they have begun the printing!! That makes it seem so much closer. While I don't exactly believe the part about no lights, I find it hilarious, simply because it would be an absolutely necessary precaution... if people like me worked there;)
Ok I've got a question: I'm relatively new to the internet community of HP, and I wasn't a part of it before HBP... a lot of people have been mentioning HBP getting spoiled... what was spoiled? How did it happen? I think I'm really paranoid about DH spoilers now...
voldy1788, *spoiler for people who have not read HBP(Harry potter and the Half-blood Prince)* they spoiled that Snape killed Dumbledore. Thank goodness I didn't watch the news, and I won't be watching it from now until I finish the book.
"Furthermore, they are forced to work in "total darkness" to prevent them from reading the book.".........Yah, I'm gonna call 'Bullsh*t' on this one. Anyone else?
they better start printing it the last book comes out in like a month! YAY!
Ravenclawswisdom (and everyone else who knows): Did they spoil it on the news? How did they get away with that?
"Furthermore, they are forced to work in "total darkness" to prevent them from reading the book." Yeah..... xD
voldy1788, mistake I meant read the newspaper. I'm not really sure if they reported it on the news, but I remember someone saying something about the newspaper reporting it. A tip for avoiding spoilers n here, you can come on Mugglenet they said they won't post spoilers but some fans will, so watch out for that.
if i worked there id write a a secret message on a random page or something cool
I do not think this is true
I can see in the dark, you know. So it wouldn't really be a problem for me. And there are probably safety precautions that they take to make the books. It's hilarious, though, that they have to work in the dark. And it's in Germany? Can most german's speak english? Or are they printing the HP series in German in Germany?
O.K. I think they are getting a bit carried away. I mean working in the dark? Someone could get injured. I understand that they want to keep the workers from getting a sneak peek of the book, but no lights. That is absolutely stupid.
You know what might have been easier than the total darkness thing.... print the Chinese version in the UK, and the English version in a country with few English-speakers.
