SuperSleuth Contest
Rules:
- There is a secret code/clue buried in all copies of Wizarding World PressÇ
Ultimate Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter (Analysis of Books
1-4). MuggleNet has a 5-stanza riddle that tells fans how to locate the
page where the code/clue is printed in WWPÇs Guide, or how to otherwise view
the code if you don't have a copy of the Guide. Approximately every 3 days
a new stanza will be posted on MuggleNet in the news until all 5stanzas have
been released.
- The object is to use the hints in the riddle to locate the code/clue and
identify the exact code phrase. At a specified time, a form will be made available
on the site. The first 200 persons to enter the exact, correct code phrase
- one entry per e-mail/IP address - will be entered in a raffle.
- 1 Grand Prize winner will win a trip for two (2) on the HP
Fan Trips tour. The Grand Prize winner must be able to travel
to England on the dates of the 3-day trip (see website), or a replacement
winner will be chosen from the runner-ups. 5 runner-ups will win their choice
of any WWP book (The
Plot Thickens... Harry Potter Investigated by Fans for Fans,
New
Clues to Harry Potter: Book 5, or the Ultimate
Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter), or a copy of The
Sorcerer's Companion.
- Participants under the age of 18 will be required to obtain permission
from a parent or guardian in order to compete in the contest (this is especially
important since the Grand Prize is an overseas trip). Participants outside
the US are eligible for a maximum $1000 per person in plane fares.
- The contest is sponsored by MuggleNet, who is not affiliated with or endorsed
by Warner Bros., Scholastic Books, Raincoast Books, or Bloomsbury Publishing.
Contest rules and selection of winners are the sole responsibility of MuggleNet,
the sponsor of the contest, who has the final decision on all issues. Wizarding
World Press will supply the Grand Prize, and those affiliated with MuggleNet,
WWP, Beyond Boundaries, or other agents of MuggleNet are not eligible to win.
