Alfie Enoch featured in the “Metro”, talks recent American success
The Potter community may know him as Dean Thomas, but Alfie Enoch has recently taken off in his role as Wes Gibbins on ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder. In an article featured in the Metro today Alfie talks his American accent for the show and his rising acting career:
I’d been doing theatre in London, but the demands of American TV are totally different… someone said to me, “‘You know people get fired at the read-through, don’t you?’ I had a vision of a line of other Weses waiting in the wings.
Of course, as viewers know, Alfie got the part and has performed spectacularly – even his fellow cast members find his American accent believable!
The article also includes Alfie’s thoughts on whom he would play in a biopic – Alfie says Ira Aldridge, but many people, including the article author, are voting for Michael Jackson!
It’s clear that Alfie is rising quickly and doing well! Have you been watching How to Get Away with Murder? What have you thought of Alfie’s performance? Let us know in the comments!
