Dame Maggie Smith and More Join “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery”!
If you’ve been looking for a reason to play Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery when it comes out (other than the blatant fact that it’s going to be awesome), look no further! In an exciting news release, we’ve learned that Jam City has recruited some legendary actors to voice the characters in the game, and you may recognize a face or two…
The amazing talents of Dame Maggie Smith, Sir Michael Gambon, and Warwick Davis are going back to Hogwarts as the voices of their beloved characters, Minerva McGonagall, Albus Dumbledore, and Filius Flitwick!
As if that weren’t exciting enough, fans may also recognize the voice of Zoë Wanamaker as Madam Hooch, Sally Mortemore as Madam Irma Pince, and Gemma Jones as Madam Pomfrey!
Dame Maggie Smith seemed excited for the prospect of attending Hogwarts as a student and already had a class she’d be most excited to attend picked out.
If I could attend Hogwarts as a student, I would be most excited to attend the [P]otions class taught by Severus because it is the most exotic.
The cofounder and CEO of Jam City, Chris DeWolfe, said that part of the reason for bringing all these actors in to reprise their roles was to help people really feel like they’re attending Hogwarts.
Our goal with Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is to make players really feel for the first time like they’re attending Hogwarts. By including these iconic and incredibly talented actors in the game, we come one step closer to truly giving fans their own Hogwarts experience.
With these voices to guide us, Hogwarts Mystery is bound to really feel like home.
The game is officially set to be released for Android and iOS on April 25!
