The “Harry Potter” Films Are Leaving Some Australian Streaming Services This Week
There’s nothing quite like watching the Harry Potter films on a cold, wintry day in January. It seems like a lot of us did a complete rewatch over the holidays. For Australian Potter fans, we have some updates on streaming services that will prove most resourceful.
News is, the Harry Potter films are leaving a couple of Australian streaming services. According to Finder’s data, all films will leave Netflix and Stan on Friday, January 14. The films were added in July, so it’s definitely a bummer that they had such a short run.
There’s also reason to believe the films could be leaving Foxtel. They’re currently on Paramount+, but there’s no clear messaging on if that will be the same come this weekend.
There is reason to celebrate, though. The films will be staying on Binge, so now might be a great time to evaluate what streaming services to keep or sign up for. With only a few days left for Netflix and Stan users, we have full faith that you can get in another marathon of all eight films. Once you’ve completed your rewatch, it would be an excellent opportunity to watch the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special on Binge as well.
Here’s to being like Hermione and pulling an all-nighter to experience the magic of the films again before they’re gone.
