Programmers

MuggleNet has several systems in place that were hand coded by excellent coders. We are currently looking for additional coders who can help us develop our site with new features and improve on the old ones. You must have mastery of HTML, CSS, and PHP, and you must have the ability to develop full-scale web applications. Additionally, you must be able to work as a team and meet important deadlines.

To apply, send an e-mail to jobs@staff.mugglenet.com with the following:
  • Your name, age, and location
  • A description of your skills (HTML, CSS, PHP, and full-scale web applications)
  • Examples of your coding work that are running online
  • In the subject line, put "MuggleNet Programmer Application"

A helpful tip: We cannot emphasize enough how important it is for you to be truly passionate about taking on these new responsibilities. You must have a strong work-ethic and technical skills, but above all YOU MUST BE PASSIONATE! Passion is the fuel that powers the MuggleNet engine, and if your motivation for applying for these positions is because of the prestige involved, or because "it would be cool", then you might not have that special something that we're looking for, because these positions will be a lot of work. PASSION, PASSION, PASSION! That's what we're looking for. And that's what you need to convey in your application!
