Ever since we started the podcast back in July 2005, MuggleCast has been centrally focused around what happened in
Half-Blood Prince. Is Snape good or bad? What's up with the locket? Who is R.A.B? What's the real reason for Dumbledore's death? Why is Jamie such a waste of space? To go with the theme of the original show, we created
this album art to show what we were all about: Harry and Dumbledore reaching for an iPod. And Half-Blood Prince.
Nearly two years have passed since that time. Now we have the title (Deathly Hallows), the page count (784), and cover (see above) for the final novel. While we'll still be trying to answer HBP questions right up until July 20th, MuggleCast is now solely focused on bringing its listeners through the release of
Deathly Hallows and beyond.
With that, it only makes sense that we change up our visual for the show. Our new website and
revamped album art are themed around the US cover for
Deathly Hallows. We're now proudly reflecting exactly where the show has been turning and where it is now fully headed.
We hope you enjoy the new theme, and we really hope we stay in your ears through Summer and beyond. Special thanks goes out to our friend Greg at
Xaler Studios for the new site design and
Patrick for sending in his inspiring idea for artwork. Pickles and Hallows, ladies and gentlemen!
