Live MuggleCast in England Update

The live podcast Jamie and I hosted today in London went great! We thank everyone who came out to the event and we hope all enjoyed attending. Unfortunately, we screwed up the recording and the first 15 minutes or so are missing. The rest of the show, however, includes lots of theory discussion, debate, contests, and much more.
Since I'll be traveling back to the States tomorrow the show is going to be a little delayed, as the recording will require some work in terms of making sure it sounds okay. The show should be up by Monday night!
Fundraiser result!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to the fundraiser. We've reached our total and are now taking the donate button down (in fact we've gone just over the total, so we've got even more awesome prizes for the live podcast). You are all so ridiculously generous and we really cannot say thank you enough. We'll be reading out a list of everyone who donated on the next show!
I ate those Big Macs today and got it all on camera. Check out the site over the next couple of days for the video in which I go from being perky and enthusiastic to miserable and delirious in 45 mouthfuls! Also; two MuggleCasts will be coming your way soon!
MuggleCast #80 download problems

Several people have been experiencing problems with their episode 80 download. We've tried to fix the main feed several times, but unfortunately we can't get it working properly. I have no one else to blame but Jamie's internet connection. I'm at his house, you see, and he doesn't pay the extra 5 pounds a month for the "MuggleCast Show Upload" service plan. In all seriousness though, we do apologize for the inconvenience. Our solution right now is for you to directly download the show at this link (which is the low-bandwidth version). If we have any more updates we'll let you know...but we promise it'll be fixed for next week's live show recorded here in England! Also, I admittedly forgot to put the Team Rocket song at the end of the show. It will be on a future show, I promise!
Information on Live MuggleCast in London

I have received several emails asking for information on the location of the live MuggleCast on March 17th. The podcast and meet up will take place at the School of Oriental and African Studies at Vernon Square, Islington, London.
SOAS has two campuses; make sure you come to the one at Vernon Square.
The nearest underground stations are Angel on the Northern Line and King’s Cross on the Northern, Victoria, Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Piccadilly lines). Vernon Square is approximately 8 minutes walk from each of these stations. The nearest main line stations are King’s Cross (Mainline and Thameslink), St Pancras and Euston. If coming by taxi, ask for Penton Rise or Percy Circus.
Please note: NO food or drink is allowed to be taken into the event.
London Podcast BOOKED!

All 150 places have been filled for the MuggleCast Live Podcast in London, UK on March 17th. If you don't receive an e-mail from us confirming your seats by Friday, we unfortunately have no more available seats. As a small update... we'll be having lots of giveaways and activities going on at the event, and we can't wait to see everyone! MuggleCast Live Podcast & Meet-Up: March 17th

For all those who have been waiting for information on the London meet-up, we are now able to announce details of MuggleCast's first live podcast in the United Kingdom! On March 17th, Andrew and I will be podcasting at the School of Oriental and African Studies at Vernon Square in London. The podcast will be followed by a 2 hour meet and greet in a function room where we'll have some great activities and prizes to give away! Because of high organization costs, we will be charging £2 per person which will be collected at the event. For this you get full access to the podcast, the meet and greet and all the activities. The event is STRICTLY limited to 150 places and will operate on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to attend, please email mcmeetup at gmail dot com with your name, address, and how many places you would like (up to four). You will receive confirmation in the near future. Please note, all attendees will be checked against a list on the day. Please ALSO note, you need to email this address again even if you have sent an RSVP before as any emails sent prior to this news post will be taken as nothing more than an expression of interest. The podcast will take place at 2pm, so aim to arrive for around 1:50pm. There will be a reception desk at the podcast location where you can sign in and pay your £2.
