Potter Profile - Tawny

July 26, 2009

First off, how did you become a Harry Potter fan?
This amazing time was when I was in 4th grade. My amazing teacher decided to give us I was cleaning my bunny's cage and saw the first book sitting on a nearby bookcase. I needed something to do for during a snow storm, so I brought it up to my room and read. When I finished I said it was the best book I ever read and went to go look for the second.

How are you feeling now that the series is over?
I didn't read PS until January 2008, so the series was over before I even got into it. If I could wish for anything it would be that I could have read the books before the series ended.

Let's talk magical objects. What would you see standing in front of The Mirror of Erised?
My family and I healthy and safe from all types of illnesses. Cancer has touch enough of my family already.

Pretend that all of the Time Turners were in fact not destroyed. What would you use one for?
I would go back in time before July 21 and read the Harry Potter books so that I could have gone to at least one of the midnight releases.

Congratulations! You just inherited a pair of Vanishing Cabinets! Where would you place them?
One in my house in Ontario, and one in my Dad's, who's been working in B.C. for almost a year. This way I could see him and my Step-Mom whenever I wanted and wouldn't have to wait for them to come on Skype.

If there was a way to make a Horcrux without committing murder, would you do it?
No. I believe you die when you're ready to die.

Finally, which Hallow are you most drawn to and why?
The cloak because then I would be able to get to my locker without people looking at me if I had a bad hair day or something like that and I would be able to just relax and read Harry Potter without being disturbed. I'd also become best at hide-and-seek. The stone would make me too sad and depressed to see all my loved ones and I have no desire to have a powerful wand, I would be to scarred that people were always trying to do me in to get my wand.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
favourite book- HBP, favourite movie- HBP, favourite chapter- Prince Tail (in DH). I'd never seen an entire Harry Potter until after I read the books, I saw the first one when I was about 5 and got too scared to finish it. Ron's my favourite character and I think Rupert does him perfectly in the movies.

Quotes
Harry stared at the word "Pig," then looked up at the tiny owl now zooming around the light fixture on the ceiling. He had never seen anything that looked less like a pig.
