“Chamber of Secrets” Is No. 1 on “New York Times” Best Seller List
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has hit No. 1 of the New York Times Best Seller list. The second book in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series was only released on June 2, and less than a month later, it is at the top of the New York Times Best Seller list.
Chamber of Secrets was released in the United Kingdom last year and quickly topped the charts there as well, so it’s no surprise that the book is just as successful in the United States.
Critics are loving the new book and the new characters that Rowling has introduced, particularly Gilderoy Lockhart. It’s encouraging to see the second Harry Potter novel doing so well on the charts. This is sure to be a sign of success to come!
