“Sorcerer’s Stone” Tops “New York Times” Best Seller List
After 34 consecutive weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone has finally hit the top spot!
It’s been just over 11 months since Sorcerer’s Stone was published in the United States. After sitting at No. 4 last week, Harry’s first adventure at Hogwarts has climbed three places on the best-seller list to No. 1.
Despite being the first book in the series, Sorcerer’s Stone is the second Harry Potter book to top the best-seller list. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets climbed to the top of the list in June of this year and is currently sitting in the No. 3 spot after nine weeks on the list.
Will Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone remain in the No. 1 spot?
