“New York Times” Will Create a Children’s Best Seller List
Well, it was bound to happen eventually! The Harry Potter books have been at the top of the New York Times Best Seller list, and every novel is currently ranked somewhere on the list. The New York Times has decided enough is enough and has announced that a Children’s Best Seller list will now be created.
This announcement comes ahead of the release of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which will be published on July 8. The book is sure to top the Best Seller list, and the New York Times would rather it top its own list.
The new children’s list, which will be printed starting on June 23, will have 15 slots. The Harry Potter books have been on the Best Seller list for 79 weeks straight this week. We can’t wait to see how the novels do on the new list!
