“Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” Movie Released Worldwide
One year after the release of the first film in the series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets opens in movie theaters across the world today.
Chamber of Secrets, which had its United Kingdom premiere on November 3, will see Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson return to the silver screen to tell the story of Harry’s second year at Hogwarts. Alongside the trio are a host of familiar faces, who also made appearances in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
They are joined by a number of new actors for this installment, including Kenneth Branagh as Defense Against the Dark Arts professor (and famous author) Gilderoy Lockhart and Hugh Mitchell as Harry Potter fanatic first year Colin Creevey.
Sadly, this is the last time we will see Richard Harris in the role of Albus Dumbledore. Harris passed away in October this year, before the movie’s release.
