J.K. Rowling Is Ninth Richest Woman in the UK

The Sunday Times today contained the definitive guide to the richest 1,000 in Britain and Ireland. Overall, J.K. Rowling came in at #96 on the rich list. However, she was named the fourth richest person in Scotland and the ninth richest woman in the UK. Her total earnings are estimated to be £500m-£65m more than last year, but the article ascribes her a further £200m coming from profits generated by future books and movies.

Daniel Radcliffe made the young people’s rich list coming in at #71 and earning £6m.
