“Harry Potter” Used As A Dictionary Resource
Harry Potter has made it into the new edition of the Oxford Primary Dictionary. The dictionary quotes the books as proper word usage for words such as “insolent,” “malevolent,” and “hapharzardly.” Oxford ‘s editors said that their “choice of citations from texts children are intimately familiar with sets a fantastic example for children and helps improve their reading and writing skills.”
