Two Copies of “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” Stolen, Then Recovered

Two men have been arrested after shots were fired during an alleged deal to buy two copies of the new ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ book.
It’s thought that the incident happened as a newspaper reporter attempted to buy ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’, which is coming out next month.
Bloomsbury sent us this statement:
Bloomsbury Publishing thanks Northamptonshire Police for their help in recovering two stolen copies of ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ but cannot comment further since this matter is now the subject of a police investigation. We hope that nobody will spoil the excitement for all ‘Harry Potter’ fans who are looking forward to reading the new book on Saturday, July 16.
