French “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” to be Printed on Environmentally Friendly Paper
It has been announced that the Cascades Fine Papers Group in Canada is to provide the paper for the French edition of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, due out on Saturday. They have guaranteed that not a single tree will be felled, saving an estimated 6,746 trees.
“We’re immensely proud of this achievement,” says Cascades Fine Papers Group Vice-President. “You don’t have to be a graduate of Hogwarts to recognize why Cascades was selected. We bring to the table high-quality, ecologically sound papers like Rolland Enviro100 and operate our mill in an environmentally responsible manner. As a pioneer in recycling, Cascades was ‘green’ long before it was fashionable.”
Other versions of the sixth Potter book printed on eco-friendly paper are the Israeli, German, UK, and English-Canada editions.
