“Shell Cottage” filming for DH to occur May 11 – 15

Filming of the new Robin Hood movie is currently underway at the Freshwater West beach in the UK's Pembrokeshire National Park. From May 11-15, filming of the “shell cottage” scene in Deathly Hallows will also take place at the beach.

The Park has assured local residents that disruption from the films will be minimal and that it would be helpful for the economy, attracting tourism:

“We recognise that the filming will inevitably cause some disruption in the area as well as great public interest. The beach itself and the coast path will however remain open to the public throughout this period and we are working with the film company and all the other organisations involved to ensure that the public's right of access to the path and the beach are respected during this time.”
