Potter set designer Stuart Craig nominated for Art Directors Guild award

The Harry Potter films are recognized in the community for their amazing attention to detail, and those touches can be attributed to set designer Stuart Craig.

This morning, we learned he's been nominated in the fantasty film category at the Art Directors Guild for his work with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He's up against Rick Carter and Robert Stromberg for “Avatar,” Philip Ivey for “District 9,” Scott Chambliss for “Star Trek” and K.K. Barrett for “Where the Wild Things Are.”
