Golden Snitch Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix
- 2 cans frosting
- 1 package white chocolate
- food coloring yellow
Instructions
Snitches
- Line the bottom of two 12-cup muffin tins with paper liners.
- Prepare and bake cake mix according to package instructions.
Wings
- Melt white chocolate according to package instructions.
- Spoon melted chocolate into a small Ziploc or piping bag.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Gently squeeze the bag to pipe the shape of a wing. Use a butter knife to smooth the chocolate. Repeat process to create two wings per cupcake.
- Place baking sheet into freezer to harden.
Assembly
- Place 2/3 of frosting in bowl and add yellow food coloring until desired color is achieved.
- When cupcakes are completely cool, spread frosting over each cupcake.
- In a separate mixing bowl, mix remaining frosting with yellow food coloring. This color should be a lighter yellow than before.
- Spoon frosting into Ziploc/piping bag. Gently pipe swirl patterns onto each cupcake.
- Take the hardened wings out of the freezer. They should easily peel away from the parchment paper. Use a dab of remaining frosting to stick two wings onto each cupcake.
