“Dear Mr. Potter”: A unique book project to support the Harry Potter Alliance

Dear Mr. Potter, started by 16-year-old Lily Zalon, is a non-profit book featuring stories, letters, and photos from Harry Potter fans around the world telling how the series has impacted and inspired them.

The book, which will be available for purchase this Summer, is being sold 100% non-profit to benefit youth literacy through the Harry Potter Alliance. While submissions for the book are now closed, the website is still a fully-functioning blog, posting fans’ stories every day while the book is being put together behind-the-scenes.

The blog has been featured on both New York Magazine ‘s website and Time ‘s ‘Newsfeed,’ so it’s really generating interest beyond the Harry Potter fandom. Dear Mr. Potter is collecting donations for production costs at this link.
