Hinds talks “Deathly Hallows,” says Aberforth is a ‘blink-and-you’ll-miss-it role’

In a new interview, Ciarán Hinds, the actor who will play Aberforth Dumbledore in Deathly Hallows – Part 2, expands on what fans can expect to see from his character.

“My scene was a four-page exposition scene about Albus Dumbledore’s childhood and how he’s not all he said he was. It’s that hole in the film that needs to be filled.”

On working with Dan, Emma and Rupert:

“With every job, you’re typically looking for the director to make sure you’re doing the right thing but with Emma, Rupert and Daniel, that has become part of their psyche. They’ve been doing that job so long, they have such ease and an instant connection with it, and a real truthfulness.”
