With Oscars this Sunday, MTV says the award should finally go to “Potter”
With just one film left to hit theaters this summer, many have begun to wonder if the Potter series will be ever be recognized by the Academy Awards.
After more than a decade of work, the highest-grossing film franchise of all time, was recently honored at the BAFTAs for its outstanding British contribution to cinema.
Now, according to MTV, its time for the Oscars to pay homage to the Potter series. A few reasons why include the score, the supporting cast and the special effects.
Sunday marks the fifth time the series will try to make the cut as Deathly Hallows – Part 1 is nominated for Art Direction and Visual Effects (8:00 p.m. ET on ABC).
