MTV: What now? Expert fans of the series consider life “Post-Potter”
MuggleNet’s own Micah Tannenbaum and MTV Potter expert Terri Schwartz discuss life for the fans of the series now that the final movie has been released. Growing up with Harry Potter for years has been a mainstay throughout many fans adolescence, but is it really over now? Micah had this to say:
“It’s a bittersweet feeling. For those who have been so involved and grown up with the series, it feels like a chapter of your life has closed, but at the same time, you’re eager to see what’s next. J.K. Rowling always has something up her sleeve.”
The chance that we will ever have a cultural phenomenon like Potter in our lifetime is very minimal. Potter transcended through all ages, races, colors, and creeds throughout the world. It has been such a magical ride for so many years, but luckily, there is more to come.
“It’s a good thing she (J.K. Rowling) decided to announce Pottermore just before the last film hit theaters, I have a feeling it will cure any lingering post-Potter depression and provide fans the ultimate online experience.”
