“Alice,” “Stranger Tides” make way for “Deathly Hallows – Part 2” as No. 6 all-time
Deathly Hallows – Part 2 continues to work its way up the worldwide All-Time Box Office List.
The final Potter film has now moved passed Alice in Wonderland and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to take hold of the No. 6 spot.
To date, Part 2 has made $1.038 billion, and is just $25 million behind Toy Story 3, and $28 million behind Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man’s Chest. With the film’s opening in China yesterday, it should secure the No. 4 spot when yesterday’s foreign numbers are posted later today.
Additionally, the film passed Sorcerer’s Stone domestically, having now made $325 million at the U.S. box office.
