Matt Lewis walks for charity in his home town of Leeds
Recently, Matt Lewis – who portrayed Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series – went for a 10k walk with inspirational Leeds youngster Bethany Hare and over 200 others to benefit the Martin House charity.
Bethany Hare is a talented 11-year old who created an online charity video dressed as the legendary Charlie Chaplin and sang the song ‘Smile’. That video raised over £8,000 so far for the hospice.
Matt Lewis joined the charity walk after doing a morning workout with a training coach from the Leeds Rhinos RL team. Apparently Matt is buffing up for a movie role he will film later this year. Although he couldn’t say much about it, we know Matt is slated to be the character Dodd in Wasteland, which will also star ‘Potter’ actor Timothy Spall (Peter Pettigrew).
