Tournaments set to begin in preparation of Quidditch World Cup

Next month, the International Quidditch Association begins a full and comprehensive set of Regional tournaments in preparation for the upcoming Quidditch World Cup, which will take place November 12 and 13 at Randall’s Island, New York.

These regional matches will influence the current rankings for the Fifth Quidditch World Cup. A full list of the current Quidditch rankings are listed here.

Here are the scheduled events:

– Midwest Cup – IQA Regionals: Sat. Oct 8, Hamilton County IN

– Quidditch at Comic Con: Thur. Oct 13, New York NY

– Second Annual Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup: Sat. Oct 15, Chestnut Hill College

– IQA Classic: Sun. Oct 16, Middlebury College

Additionally, registration for Canada’s very first quidditch tournament is now open. Carelton University is proud to host the Canadian Cup in Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday October 29. Note: This event replaces the previously listed tournament in Montreal.
