Chris Rankin to attend Ascendio 2012

If you have been to any of the conferences recently held by HPEF, odds are that you have seen Chris Rankin out and about, exploring (and, at times, signing autographs – always with a smile). Well yesterday, HPEF announced that Chris will be returning for their next conference, Ascendio 2012. In addition to his usual Q&A’s and signing events, this year Chris (who plays Percy Weasley in the Potter films) has something even more special:

Hugely fascinated by Harry Potter fandom – and welcomed by it – Chris has focused his university thesis on fandom, and is excited to present his work at Ascendio – a Harry Potter actor-special guest first!

Ascendio, the conference, runs from July 12-15, 2012 at the Universal Orlando resort space (in particular, Loews Portofino Bay resort, Orlando, FL). Not only does MuggleNet have a special referral page just for MuggleNet viewers, but we also have word that another announcement regarding the conference is scheduled to happen tomorrow.
