Dan Radcliffe announces nominations for BAFTAs; “Potter” shortlisted for four awards

Early this morning, Dan Radcliffe and Holliday Grainger – two of the hottest rising stars in the UK – announced the nominations for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards, Britain’s equivalent of America’s Academy Awards.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 was nominated in the following categories:
- Production Design
- Sound
- Special Visual Effects
- Make Up and Hair
‘Potter’ was long-listed but not selected as a nominee in seven other categories including: Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay, Supporting Actor (Alan Rickman), Editing, Cinematography, Costume Design, and Original Music.
The 2012 Orange British Academy Awards will take place for the sixth year in a row at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, England and will be hosted by Stephen Fry.
The show will be broadcast live exclusively on BBC One and BBC One HD with a red carpet show prior to the event, which will be shown on BBC Three.
